Game ON!
Kick-Off by the Force!
3 Scrums in the 1st 5 minutes…
My SuperBru pick was for the Rebels to win, if I remember correctly.
The Force has played a spoiling and unimaginative game this season!
Rebels penalty, 1m inside the Force half.. kick to touch!
Try Reece Hodge, Rebels!
Rebels 7 / 0 Force
Rebels’ Mike Harris off injured.
Force penalty, Peter “Pop Gun” Grant for goal.
Over
Rebels 7 / 3 Force
Morning GBS.
Try Luke Morahan, Force… good individual try and skills!

Rebels 10 / 8 Force
15 @ Scrumdown:
Ag jong… the usual suspects are there… maybe 4 or 6 I am not very happy with to be there… but each coach will have those ones in a squad… ones who are contentious picks.
A couple of Transformation objectives and a couple of players playing on past reputation alone…
That is normal and totally the nature of things.
I am more concerned about what kind of game approach will be implimented…

She enjoyed the bit of banter yesterday. She’ll probably join when she gets internet etc sorted out her side. I’m really surprised- she wasn’t so into rugby before, but now that he’s back in CT, she’s rugby mal!
Peter Grant for goal again… to the right AND short from “Pop Gun”!

The coach on the other hand…………………………
I hear what you are saying, I just can’t believe that Marx is not a better player that BOTH of the stormers’ hookers.
I can understand that Strauss needs to be there, and I concede that Scarra always seems to make an impact when he is on the field, but I can’t help but feel that MArx has been screwed over by the varked up quota requirements.
If he was my son, I would be sending his Rugby CV to every European club out there. Hell, maybe even to the Aussie and NZ Super Rugby franchises.
19 @ GoBokkeAndIreland:
Good stuff.. it’s good that she is rugby mal… that’s a great bonus!
Rebels penalty, right in front, near the Force 10m line… about 37m out… shot it is!
Reece Hodge misses to the left this time.
Another Rebels penalty… on the Force 10m line… 2 infringements picked up
21 @ Scrumdown:
Personally I am glad that a lot of the old dead wood has been chopped away… players like Schalla, Ruan Pienaar, Morné Steyn, Jannie du Plessis, Bismarck du Plessis, Francois Steyn…
To me that is positive…
I think Malcolm Marx will force his way into selection relatively soon… he is in the SA ‘A’ side…

There are always gonna be guys who feel aggrieved. It’s the unfortunate nature of the weird situation we have in this country.
I wonder though, if AC and SA rugby aren’t also imposing an “age quota” with a view to the next World Cup.
@ grootblousmile: @ 26.
Thats my thinking – a new, younger era has begun.
But – like you say – what is the gameplan and style of play going to be . . .
2nd Half ON!
