@ Bullscot:@ 30.
Wow! Those are odd indeed. Sevens is a strange game. Almost like everyone always has a chance.
@ GoBokkeAndIreland:
@29 seems like the Sharks are running away it
Another try. JPP in the corner. Almost halftime. Score: 43 – 0. Conversion was good.
@ Bullscot: @32
They are. Kings not even looking like they pitched up . . .
If Fiji win their match against Aus they qualify for the Cup quarter finals and would be this years overall champions as that would make it impossible for them to be over taken by the BlitzBoks…
Okay, thats halftime. 43-0. I need another drink . . .
It’s a LOVELY evening in the Cape Town CBD, where I am. The beer is cold and the red wine is room temperature.
Nick Mallett called this game a massacre so far.
Sri Lanka – 118/8.
Specman has just scored! Samoa 0/17 SA after 15 minutes
Beast doing a bit of guest commentary on the sideline. Sl 118/9 . . .
Lineout to Sharks on Kings 10m line . . . Bit of rucking, Kings win the ball and good relieving kick.
Cricket is over – SL 91 and 119. Eng 298. Eng win by innings and 88 runs.
Sharks attacking . . .
@ Bullscot: @ 39
Nice! Go Bokke!
@ GoBokkeAndIreland:
Sounds great nice and sunny here too now in fact at the moment our temperature is a bit higher than Cape Town’s.
@ Bullscot: @ 43
Yeah – not hot today, but a nice sunny winters day.
No wind, which is nice.
Good run by Kings number 7. They look threatening for the first time, imo.
They lose the ball, Sharks counter from their own line . .. kick, Lambie collects and away for a try.
OMFG! Even attacking and being right on the line, the Kings still mess it up . . .
So much for threatening . . .
SCORE: 48-0 after 50 min.
Samoa 0/22 SA. BlitzBoks top Pool A. One thing that concerns me is something picked up from previous tournaments is the amount of conversations they miss, again even in such a big win they left points out there only converting 1 of the 4 tries they scored. I know 7s is about running passing and scoring tries but in tight games it becomes handy getting the conversions right.
@ Bullscot: @47
Nice for the Boks. It seems to me they often rush the conversion – maybe thats why so many are missed. I agree tho – cant afford that in tight games . . .
55 min gone. Score is 48-0, lots of Sharks reserves on.
And I have several beers down . . .
I see this on another site:
ENGLAND SUFFER AS SARRIES HEAD TO TWICKERS
REPORT: England suffered a double injury fright ahead of their tour of Australia, after both Manu Tuilagi and Owen Farrell went off early as Saracens advanced into the Premiership Final on Saturday.
Okay, fun n games: Referral, for some pushing and shoving.
Hmmm . . . doesnt look too serious to me.
Stern talking to to both players. Both loose forwards, Sharks 7, didnt get Kings player number.
Scrums seem a bit high to me, but hey, what do I know.
Keegan Daniel doing well so far.
Okay, injury update – Sharks 8 has a groin injury . . . Never fun those . . .
Some Kings replacements on now.
Game seems to have slowed down a bit. I cant pinpoint why. But no score this half yet. Still 48-0, after 62 min.
Commentators just mentioned exactly what I said in my previous comment. Too late! I said it first.
KIngs attacking out of their own half. Look good, but cant keep possession or make the best attacking decisions.
Sharks get ball, lost forward, but offside. Quick tap and try to Mvovo. TMO to check foot in touch.
Looks out.
Decision – lineout, no try.
Howzit GB&I. Just got home, looks like a bit of a one sided affair!
KIngs player being stretchered off – doesnt look good. Its number 7. And he was having a really good game. Looks like a hard knock on the chin.
Sad, hope it isnt too serious.
@ Just For Kicks:
Hey Kickers! Yip, bit of a hiding.
Entire Sharks bench on the field. 68 min gone. Still 48-0.
