Surely forward?
Try Canes… but surely there was a forward pass in there!
TMO
Forward pass ruled indeed!
Kings scrum penalty… 1 minute to go in the game!
Try Beauden Barrett, after a silly bloody lineout overthrow!
Canes bonus point in the bag!
Barrett has some serious speed for 10.
Final Score: Hurricanes (19) 42 / 20 (17) Kings
@ Scrumdown:
only by about 5 metres.
😐
96 @ grootblousmile:
At least 8 out of 10 long throws at line outs result in lost possession.
Why the coaches even allow a team to contemplate it is beyond me.
97 @ Scrumdown:
Yeah, he is super fast!
King only concede 42 points.
First time this season they have not had 50 put past them.
An improvement?
Well folks, that is the rugby for today, Good Friday!
Have a wonderful family day!
Let me go work… I’ll do tomorrow’s Live Game threads and schedule them later today!
1st Game tomorrow is at 08:35
There are 5 games tomorrow and 1 on Sunday!
Fuck the Proteas ad that just aired is corney in sooo many ways!
“We’re bringing it back” they sing.
Have they paid enough match fixers to ensure it?
The perfect bookmaking storm….
Host and favourites India collapse in the opening game v NZ and then struggle to beat neighbours Bangladesh who lose 3 wickets in the last over going for big shots when they could do it in singles.
India come back from the dead to win the competition on home soil.
The BCCI makes a fortune in gate takings.
The bookies make a fortune everywhere.
The match fixers make shed loafs of moneys and give some to selevted players.
The Proteas get their death bowlers smashed to all parts by the Windies and get loads of critisism but are welcomed home by a huge crowd who are glad they had competed gamely in trying conditions.
Believe what you will about T20 cricket, but where the BCCI are involved, don’t even believe it is a day / night game if it is dark.
Good fight by the Kings, but just not enough quality in the side. Just been escalating at Helkom. Had 2 new landlines installed, but still not active.
@ grootblousmile:
Cheers GBS.
Have a good one.
Cheers gents. Off to the office as well.
Office very far for me. Just a walk down the passage.
Farking Amachokers. No more to say.
So, SA lose to 2 of the most average teams in the tournament. Bookies delight.
No ways can it be said that the Proteas choked – they were quite simply not good enough (to even choke), having been let down this tournament especially by their stars, AB & Dale …
@ Angostura: they certainly don’t look like a quality side. I’m no fan of T20 but losing any international game is painful. Guess this is another WC where the lads will catch the early flight home.
