    @ Nama:
Definitely its about how you kick.

Heyneke was destroyed by loor kicking and the selecrion of players who couldnt kick well enough.

Im just saying that its ironic that when teams lose because of a (poor) kicking game, we are inundated with people calling it an outdated gameplan… When teams win its a tactical superior gameplan… Im just asking for consistency

Id say the huge difference and what the stormers compared to meyer (and one of the huge failings in his gameplan) was there was no up and unders that was more often than not poorly executed and ended putting the team under more pressure. The stormers purely went for distance.

I didn’t watch the game. Was committed to a family wedding well away from my geographic comfort zone. That said, it was pretty easy and expedient to bring myself up to speed with what was going down in the weekend’s drama. By all accounts, the Stormers did pretty well to stuff up my SuperBru performance and GBS was likely to pull further away, after a promising start. I was 14 at one stage recently, which was very cool. Which just goes to show this game of ours is a f&*%$ing lottery. I was pretty pissed off because I’ve been trying for about eight years to beat these BB boerie-vreeters and was on the cusp of bragging rights for the first time in years. Will need ever more luck apparently, coupled to a few more bribe pints for Mr Fleck and cohorts. 🙄
