I’m liking Du Preez more and more. No single dimension here on today’s evidence

    Arghhhh… knock.. fokkie toggie

  • 155

Groom on for Jano Vermaak, who I thought had a good game!

Stormers have 4 outstanding locks to call on. What a pleasure. Decent front row resources too. Nothing wrong with the back-rowers either. Just the halfback cupboard a little lean. That’s the BIG weakness in this years squad.

  • 163

    Wow, awesome

  • 164

Stormers running maul try… Scarra Ntubeni!

  • 165

bonus point try. What a driving maul. Near perfect.

3 try bonus points are tailor made for us 😆

    Bulls knock…

    Seconds to go

    Game Over!

Good win by the Stormers, who reigned supreme in the 2nd half!

Geluk stommers. Goeie game. Game het twee plekke verander, toe malherbe opkom/henkus van wyk opkom en toe piet pap in sy hande van zyl opkom.

Heard Ashwin also refer to it as a running maul try….heard it here first.

STOOOOOOORRMEEEEEEERRS….Now that’s a proper hammering…BP aswell… Now who needs Eddie Jones is what I’d like to know!!!

Stormers:Game came alive in the 2nd half, must be that gray-hair Robbie told young Robbie to open things up and not do those hapless kicking, and wow what he a game then had and certainly proved his critics wrong bigtime.

The quick re-cycle thingy yielded points.Subs gave us advantage aswell i.e. scrums…Nice run for Zas,thought a 70 metre try was on the cards…RD amazing stuff, poor coat-hanger there by Grant Hattingh on you,..nevertheless didn’t do damage…Eben and PSDT is combo ruthless, would be too painful to try and stop them…

Bulls…You got matadored…and as Nama would say “HOW THE HELL DID SOME OF THEM EVER BECOME BOKS”…Kriel,Arno Botha,Rudy…I think he answered that a while back and today it was clear as mud…”klomp” Vodacom quality from them that was…

    *what a game he had…

    @ provincefan:
“Nice run for Zas,thought a 70 metre try was on the cards…”

Told my mate, that I was watching the game with, that Zas would’ve out sprinted the cover defence if the ball was passed earlier to him. Opportunity missed.

Nyakane had Koch’s number. Not sure what went wrong there because Koch was great last year. Hope it’s just a once off.

The combination of Carr, Notsche and Schalla worked well but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Kolisi showed that he is still hungry AND better than Notsche and this stage.

JDJ can be a revelation at 12 this year. Still some communication problems between the centres, I believe, but it will get better as the season progress.

On the Bulls side… their front row was good…other than that, they have nothing. I hope that all the Jan Serfontein and Kriel fans will now realize how crap they both are. Add Pollard, and they must have the kakkest inside back line ever, despite the fact that those three are/were all 1st choice Boks for a certain former Bok coach.

May their nightmare continue for the next 15 weeks.

Well done, Robbie Fleck on your 1st win as head coach. Prove all those doubters wrong. 100% behind you, BRU.

    Hi Nama
    Agree Zas looks exciting.
JDJ was the best midfielder on the paddock. By a country mile.
Young Du Preez had a very decent game I thought.
    Cheslin always looked dangerous.
Nice try by Scarra. Gotta love this boy.
Koch was indeed owned by Big Trevor although the Stormpies returned the favor in the second half once our new captain (half) entered the fray. Eben and PSD were good together too. Hell I pity the opposition. All of them.
I did think the Bulls played very well in the first half. Very even going into the break. Flekkie must have passed the pipe around instead of oranges at the break because Stormers came out smoking in the second.
    Great win.
