Assistant Referees: Romain Poite (France), Stuart Berry (South Africa)

Will be interesting to see what England does under Eddie Jones.
I do not think they will be close to the finished product yet… this is their 1st hit-out under Jones.
Scotland… well… they did well against Aussie in the Rugby World Cup, but I expect them to end close to bottom on the RBS 6 Nations Log in 2016.
Earlier rain in Edinburgh has cleared, looks dry for a while possibly even until kick off, hopefully it stays dry in the game but the field will be damp anyway. GO SCOTLAND!
OK, shuffle up!
Players are out on the pitch and now it will be the Anthems.
God Save The Queenie up first.
Scotland’s Flower of Scotland up now!
Flower of Scotland hair raising stuff!
Anthems done and dusted… let the game begin!
Game ON!
Kick-Off by England!
Saw Zander Fagerson there in the build up, turned 20 in January if he comes on will be youngest tighthead prop for over 50 years I think for Scotland
England scrum inside the Scotland 22, middle of the field
Knock by George Ford…
Scotland scrum penalty… relief for the Scots.
England penalty… outside their own 22… of course kicked to touch
Looks like the old England to me… have not seen too many of the “Leopard’s spots” changed just yet.
England scrum… on attack…
It is deep in the Scotland 22… they get their ball…
Drop attempt by Ford… missed.
Hogg under pressure… results in a 5m scrum for England.
England have a lot to prove, after their disasterous Rugby World Cup… and under their new muse, Eddie Jones.
Try Kruis, England!
England 7 / 0 Scotland
Owen Farrell I see took the conversion, so he’s on for Ford?
Scotland kickable penalty…
Dylan Hartley told “Not Now!” by the referee as he wants to argue the situation.
England 7 / 3 Scotland
Hard intent by both sides… already a better game than the previous one…
Scotland penalty again, on the England 10m line… kickable too… maybe a bit of a more difficult angle, so they go for touch.
Scotland 4m out… then they lose the ball… and England get a relieving penalty.
Good rugby… and quite a bit of endeavour by England’s backline… so not a bad approach in total by England.
More balanced than last year already…
Fast game… faster than we are used to by Northern Hemisphere sides.
England penalty, inside their own half… deep inside.
Penalty was against WP Nel.
Finn Russell with a great touchfinder by the Scots

Ford is 10 and Farrell 12 today, Farrell is a much better kicker with Ford a good running flyhalf but for me Farrell has been in better club form this season.
