@ Ben-die-Bul:
@ Vrystaat:
Yep, last line of defense has been a bit of a hit and miss lately.
Still not impressed with the 1st half and not going to get too excited by the end margin, the fact we didn’t concede is more important and also that our back got opportunities to cut loose in the second 40 is what pleases me the most

Alberts ook?
Hoe het hy gespeel?
@ Victoriabok:
Alberts gaan nog n beast wees by die knockouts.
Ja, nou begin die regte rugby, shows is verby.
nortie wrote:
I think it was because of FDP’s poor first half… after the first try in the second half the guys started to relax a bit more… Looked like the guys was very nervous about this game, especially after what happened against Japan.
We will be better up for it in the quarters…whether it is good enough, we will have to see.
217 @ Ben-die-Bul:

Damian de Allende awarded Man Of The Match!
@ Ben-die-Bul:
Hulle kort net ‘n losskakel of ‘n ander skopper
nortie wrote:
Ben-die-Bul wrote:
ja en serfontein op 12 😉
230: vleuels Vic en JDV ?
231 @ Ben-die-Bul:
Man, Victor is ‘n senter, nie ‘n vleuel nie!
Hehehehe
@ nortie:
“Now for Wales. Can’t see Wales stopping the Boks”
Ag no man Nortie, now you’re starting to sound like one of the “glass is half full” brigade … was one win against the American B team really all it took to make you abandon your pessimism? Yee of little faith;-)
Anyway, I have no problems imagining Wales stopping the Boks (unless Wales’ injury toll keep mounting). If I remember correctly, they actually beat the Boks the last time they met. I haven’t seen much to convince me that the Boks have improved since then. Need I remind you that the Boks have lost against both Argentina and Japan this year? Wins against Scotland B and USA B do not erase those facts.
235 @ Vrystaat:
I also wonder just how good was this display?
I think that to all suddenly start believing that the final 30 minutes of yesterday’s game is a sign of things to come could well be a disaster in the making.
Sure, the cohesion was better, but let’s look at the level of the opposition. I think this USA team would have battled to beat the Valke!
They were crap.
Hello boys
Could not see the match
How did our two Stade Français men
Steyn and Meyer
Thanks in advance for the feed back
Guess you will wear a yellow jersey tomorrow…
The best thing about this game was no injuries and game time for some of the important combo’s. like 2-4-5 and 9-10-12.
Like a practice contact session.
Nice to pick up the 5 points and get some player confidence, but hopefully not too much cockiness.
We do know now that Frans Malherbe is a better 3 than Jannie by a country mile, and that Paige is a better 9 than Pienaar.
