Very dissapionting game from fdp, its a shame that even with a shocker he is still the best we have at the moment…
I really hope rudy paige can come through next year.
In the 2 playoff games we managed 1 try, AB’s scored 11 in their two games.
This is what we can expect for the next 4 years as well
Brave Bokke:
Bokke did considerably better than I thought possible.
But …
going forward the Bokke need an attack coach, someone that can unlock the try scoring genie for this team…
And for someone who is so highly regarded, Pollard’s tactical kicking is not even up to provincial standard …
To be honest it would’ve been a travesty for rugby if the Bokke had won.
If it hurts…………………………it’s because you love them.
Everything has a price, even love.
Hurt is the price we all pay for love…………………………..one day.
Great game SA.
Be proud of your Boys.
Disappointed yes, but proud.
This is the game that should have been The Final.
It’s the Game that should be every Final.
Sincerely Yours,
cane.
Goodnight and God bless you all.
We kicked poorly
And we didn’t use our backline
We saw how De Allende broke the line early in game but we chose to kick it back to them each time
364 @ cane:
Always gracious in victory, thx, cane
&
Congratulations with the win.
The Boks didn’t make the final. That much is true. But they came within a ball hair of doing so.
@ cane:
cheers Cane. Almost but not quite. The rivalry continues.
I really expected the All Blacks to play their traditional wide game, in stead they used many grubbers and played the territory game.
The All Blacks defence is awesome!
361 @ MacroPolo:
Rudy DID come through this year; but despite that he was not afforded any opportunity on the world stage
This game further emphasized that if not already retallick and whitelock is/will be the greatest lock pairing of all time. Exceptional games from them.
Wie dink daai pass na kaino was vorentoe

You and me know that, yet most people still underestimate him or his inclusion for the rwc.
@ cane:
Thx Caner! You deserved this one, no denying, you were the better team!
And thx for the commissersations…just don’t make a habit of it!
Well done matey!
The better team won. Boks gave their all but executed poorly. Mind set has to change going forward but we will have Ostrich…
@ cane:
Enjoy the spoils, good luck next week.
@ MacroPolo:
Wat het Vic daar kom soek net kom kuk aanjaag!
I know we are disapointed… but we also, as supporters, expected the All Blacks to win… if we are honest with ourselves.
The margin of victory was small and that at least is OK, if you consider we could have copped a walloping, which I feared more than a loss.
Now from hereon forward… we need to build on the positives and come back stronger in 2016.
Coming back stronger firstly means that our Super Rugby Franchises need to perform better and more consistently. It means that South Africa as a whole needs to embrace a more complete TYPE of game, our skills need to improve and we need to run into space.
Gone are the days when you can win a game with a physically dominant side, bullying the opposition, because all top sides won’t let themselves be bullied.
I think all the coaching changes in our Super Rugby sides is a blessing, and I think the amount of exciting running players coming through (most all the way through the structures from Varsity Cup, by the way) will stand South Africa in good stead in future.

So true..and about time the Bok coaching staff realise it.
The Bokke won ONLY the scrum & goal kicking battles …
all other facets of the game we lost.
THAT is the bottomline; we cannot expect to be #1 ranked team, nor RWC champions without improving across all other disciplines of the game.
The scoreboard doesn’t show it, but we were outplayed … for the umpteenth time.
380 @ robzim:
Not only the Bokke coaching staff… the whole of SA!
@ grootblousmile:
Boks did better than we expected, but never looked like they could ever cross the NZ try line. Our only hope was to win by kicks. Our defense and heart was immense, but we cannot compete only on heart and not skills as you so rightfully point out.
I don’t think that HM can advance this team
but, sadly,
there is no obvious compelling alternative coach.

No mate. It was closer than many thought possible. This is knockout rugby. The Boks made mistakes. The lineouts were shambolic. Yet they were still in it. And lost by 2 points.
Saying it would’ve been a travesty is harsh. In the extreme.
@ grootblousmile:
Yep it all changes with Super Rugby @ Ben-die-Bul:
jip
@ The_Young_Turk:
Netso! En ons is te dom ook, weet nie wanneer om toe te slaan en oor te neem nie.
HM moet maar gaan nou….en die toppies ook, soos Vic….hulle is kuk, vra my! Ek is self een
En GBS ook….

To you maybe
The old guard in SA rugby will now retire and move on… Victor Matfield, Jannie du Plessis, Jean de Villiers, possibly Schalla…
Now I hope we embrace change… out with the likes of Ruan Pienaar, Morné Steyn, Fransie Steyn & Zane Kirchner!
In with the likes of Jaco Kriel, Malcolm Marx, Warrick Gelant, Cheslin Kolbe, Seabelo Senatla… and a few more.
