    @ Nama:
    Faf het ook babbelas 😉

  • 512

Well done on your 100, Faf.

Cannot even celebrate properly because of cramps. Delighted

  • 513

    hahaha Faf

  • 514

    Faf in overdrive here.

  • 515

Faf is in one legged one armed berserker mode… he probably needs to pee in a cup after the game.

    @ nortie:

    Thanks Nortie,

    Well worth a click.

There are so many levels to these things that we never get to see.

  • 517

Faf is done for. Retired hurt.

  • 518

351 with 6 overs of ABD still to go.

  • 519

Personally i take beach cricket more serious than limited over internationals due to the absence of bookmakers on the beach.

  • 520

AB on his way to another 100 for SA.

  • 521

    too bad for the boks

this match was here to be taken

poor kicking to go out of the 22
    and some silly mistakes

good to see that the AB’s can be dumb when under some kind of pressure

    a sour feeling I guess

  • 522

    Now AB gets his 100.

3 of the top 4 batsman with 100’s in the match. How many times have this happened?

So Wally, how do you think the Wobblies will fare in the Play-off for 3rd and 4th?

    😉

    @ Nama:
When we last played the Windies I think.

  • 525

    AB out.

    Well played. What an entertainer.

    all time great

    “a sour feeling I guess.”

    Quite understandable rebop.

The SA/NZ Semi could have gone either way.
I do however think, the better team on the day did win.

We still love French Rugby in this part of the World……………………………………………..and always will.
And they were not as bad as you might think they were.

  • 528

One of the worst bowling displays

Agree on both counts. Amazing that a player like that is not a fixed part of the starting lineup… only in NZ.

  • 530

SA equals the score they put up against Aus in the ODI Game of the Century….438/4.

    This time batting first.

    Well done boys.

  • 531

Quinton de Kock ,”It’s always good fun watching AB. He doesn’t even celebrate hundreds now. Just bat up, thank you”

    Pleasure

It went the way it should have. 2 tries to 0 says what needs to be said. Only thing that kept SA in the game was that NZ made uncharacteristically many unforced errors in the first half.

Anyway, I’m off to the bar to go join that poor English chap and the rest of the 6 Nations gang. Enjoy the final against (I hope) the Argies;-)

    thanks
    but
    regarding French Rugby
4 years of disappointment is long

I guess the new team will try to make something at the next 6 nations
    with some young players
new 9 of toulouse for example
a bit of enthusiasm is needed

but the system is not to change
and I fear that stade de France will not be full at 6 nations

@ nortie: I will have to agree with you Nortie. I’m pretty sure you were not willing the Boks to lose yesterday. But, like myself, I did not expect them to pull off a win either. As one would expect, with glass in hand, replica jersey on back, emotions out of control, I willed the Boks to win. They didn’t. Nursing a mild HO early this morning, I watched the game again. This time more focused on exactly how the 80 unfolded. The Boks played with a lot of commitment and passion as you’d expect. In the first half they were almost good, given what they’d been instructed to do. They led at the half. It must be said; the ABies hadn’t played particularly well in the first 40, making far too many errors for a team of their quality. However, we came out of the shed and played really predictable domkrag rugby made worse by far too many unforced errors. If we’d played the 2nd half like we’d played the first, then Meyer’s plan might have had a small chance of working. But that is a BIG ‘but’ because the Kiwis know how to change gear. We don’t. That’s that stereotype thing everyone finds problematic about our modern day rugby.

I watched the game at my school reunion and it seemed to go so quick….100 of us up still drinking after a mammoth session…
Now at home and watching the replay..the composure of the Abs shone through and the inability of the Bok to create real pressure with only 2 tackles the Abs had to make in their 22….but the Bok did create some scoreboard pressure… which made the game close….The Bok can start to build for next year and hope Meyer starts to get them to move the ball a bit more…
