Listening to the game on the radio, from the sound coming through it seems as if the crowd is behind Argentina?
Another Argies penalty, Auusies pulling out of the scrum contest… not enough advantage accruing.
If the Argies can score soon and convert… it will lead to a massive ending to determine the winner!
Foley drop attempt, missed… well short and to the right
Pumas scrum, on halfway…
Good Phase play by Argentina, undone by a last-gasp loss of the ball on the ground, punished by Genia lor a long line kick, out near halfway
15 Minutes to go, the chess game continues.
Wallabies penalty, 4m inside the Pumas half
Lots of subs on now.
Genia replaced by Phipps, Simmons off replced by Mumm
Wallabies lineout on the 22… big chance for them to put it beyond doubt now!
Argies manage to turn the ball over and kicked out for welcome relief
Ozzies are the smartest team on the planet – they are able to make up for all their deficiencies. just can’t see them beating the ABs though.
10 Minutes to go in the game
Hat trick try, Adam Ashley-Cooper!
@ The_Young_Turk:
They managed to beat them in the RC a couple of months ago.
Will take a huge effort, but they might pull it off, they can score tries and their defense is very good
Incredible run by Drew Mitchel.
Wallabies 29 / 15 Los Pumas
Jeez, I need Argentina to score at least 1 consolation try
NZ beat Arg by 10 in the WC and scored less tries against them, next week will be interesting
5 Minutes to go… Aussies have this one firmly in the bag…
Wallabies vs All Blacks final it will be!
Springboks vs Los Pumas for 3rd place play-off it will be!
@ nortie:
They beat the ABs on an off day, then the match after the ABs massacred them. While anything is possible think that ABs will be far more focused for the final of the WC. In any case the two best teams in the world will contest the final.
Argies scrum, on their own 22…
No 1 in the world vs No 2… in the final
No 3 against No 4 in the 3rd place play-off
Normality rules!
I am worried about the Pumas vs the Boks. Pumas will want it more in my opinion and they know they can beat the Boks now while Boks will be down and their hearts might not be in it…
Seconds to go….
Final Score: Australian Wallabies (19) 29 / 15 (9) Argentinian Los Pumas

HM already said the 3rd/4th game means nothing, it’s like kissing your sister.
Also think Arg will be more up for the game
Congrats to the Ozzies and well done to Argentina for showing that they have now reached the top 4 in the world… and maybe top 3 after Friday.
If Carter and Aaron Smith can play like yesterday the Ozmob have no chance… but a world cup final is a great leveler, and the pressure is telling on both sides… looking forward to the game.
I think Arg will be equally as deflated as the boks to play in the 3rd and 4th playoff…
Congrats Ponyboy and Wallabie

In that case, I hope he likes kissing his sister. Losing against Argentina twice in one year (not to mention the Japan catastrophe) will be on the record forever, regardless of whether he reckons the game matters or not.
