    Great defence by Japan

If you do not have legs, you cannot run…

The little okes can scrum, hey!!

Low body positions, all technique and joint effort!

    Certainly boxing above their weight

Knock by Census Johnston of Samoa

  • 35

I think that Japan didn’t make enough use of their 2 man advantage whilst they had it. Should have had a few more points on the board

  • 36

I’m taking a wild guess here, but it looks like Craig isn’t a huge fan of Samoa

  • 37

    Japan penalty, kickable…

They are enjoying MOST of the possession.

    Another team warning to Samoa

  • 38

Samoans really are their own worst enemies. We say it every game, why are they so pig-headed. They are so much better than their game day play shows

True, but we have seen many other games so far this WC where the “smaller sides” impinge to keep scores down, but don’t get a yellow card.

Samoa have no chance here today, he will nail them even on the 50/50 calls now

  • 43

Samoans are flat-footed and looking terrible!

  • 44

What does Japan have that the Stormers don’t?

A player that has won Super Rugby

  • 45

Stunning technique by Japan… and oh so patient through the phases.

Samoa penalty… and they get out of trouble

Problem is, most side impinge ‘within’ the law, but the Samoans insist on blatantly cheating. It just takes a few brain cells to do it properly, hell, just look at McCaw!

    Japan 20 / 0 Samoa

    Lemoenetyd

  • 53

Lovely kick. What a way to end the 1st half.

The Japanese have certainly won the hearts and minds of the crowds, that for sure.

And with every point, putting just a little more pressure on the Boks

  • 54

Must seem to Samoa that there are hundreds of Jappies playing against them!

  • 55

Samoa continuing their ludicrous display from last week.

They are even worse than the All blacks were last night… but doing it two weeks in a row.

  • 56

Well, and we were impressed with the Boks beating Samoa last week and thought we were back on track, watching Japan do the same thing maybe puts things in perspective somewhat.

Scotland also smashed Samoa, suddenly I think we might have a harder game later than initially thought

You really weren’t happy with the AB performance, were you. Time to upgrade to unlimited broadband!

  • 58

Geez, if we lose today without a BP we are definitely going home

My thoughts too. At least we have a team – bar props – that we can have a bit of faith in!

Well, for someone who picked Samoa for the win I’m also not a huge Japanese fan at the moment
