Steve Hansen finally also receiving his medal…
Last time we have seen a number of All Blacks in their Black jerseys…
May those who move on go well off into the sunset, thank you for the entertainment you have given, for the total dedication… and enriching rugby!
@ Ben-die-Bul:

Yes, as the Lions have shown
Great great game Folks
Huge Carter Nonu SBW Kaino and second row
One little thing though
but when you can defend off-side and have no sanction with repeated faults
it is not fair for the other side
Great come-back from Australia
Thanks to both teams
well ahead of others !!!
I almost feel sorry for the Wallabies.
But then Australia have this year won the Cricket WC (beating NZ).
Their Ladies won the Netball WC (beating NZ).
They hold the Rugby League WC. (beating NZ).
So 3 out of 4 ain’t too bad.
Commiserations to Steven Moore and his Team.
It must be heart breaking to come so far,to fall at the final hurdle.
To Brumby and Wallabie, your Team played a great game, a pleasure to watch, and classy in defeat. And that is not always an easy thing to do.
cane.
There’s the All Blacks final Haka…. Kamate…
@ Te Rangatira:
Off to bed Rangi.

@ cane: before you go Caner. Congratulations mate. What a fine deserved win old boy. Many are saying it and I’ll repeat it; I think we are seeing the last of the best team to have played the game. Today was simply confirmation of that. Cheers

@ Victoriabok:
Hahaha…
Hoe voel JY oor daai nuus?
@ Victoriabok:
Verskonings…verskonings…
What a game by a champion team.
Carter, Nonu, Conrad Smith, Mc Caw…the rugby world bow down to you.
Thanks for the great memories.
You were responsible for taking Rugby Union to another level.
Well done. You’ve earned every accolade that may come your way.
RESPECT!!!
“Who’s fooling who”, soos my een vriend so lief is om te vra?
@ Victoriabok:
Heyneke Meyer kry dalk tot R5 m. ’n jaar
Sluit glo voor WB kontrak vir nóg 4 seisoene
RAPPORT, 01. 11. 2015
No doubt that if the story breaks in Rapport tomorrow, it is true.
Phil Zaayman was the head rugby writer, and I think sports editor of Rapport, before he joined HM as media liaison officer.
Makes sense that Rapport will get all the scoops afa Bok rugby is concerned.
Broers vir broers, my bru.
It was so strange to watch the seniors (Mc Caw, Carter, Nonu, Conrad) in the AB team tonight producing the goods compared to our seniors last night (Habana, Beast, FdP, Matfield).
Just such a moerse difference in performance on the day.
Some rugby myths were dispelled tonight after the final.
1. AB cannot win a RWC AWAY from home.
2. DEFENCE wins world cups.
3. FETCHERS are the key to win matches.
4. Veldsman is a kak TMO.
Just want to use this opportunity to congratulate my good mate, Nortie, on winning the Superbru competition on this site. Hope you made a bundle on your money bru, bro.
Also, to the proverbial bridesmaid on bru this season, Rugbyprof, well done my fellow WP/Stormer supporter. Second in the CC bru (behind a certain Nama ) and now second again behind Nortie. Better luck next time.
Hopefully my sleeping patterns will come right after a great tournament…one of the best if not the best…just one more early rise with the kiwis v great Britain tomorrow….
Well done All Blacks. Well deserved win against the Wallabies. Congrats to all the AB supporters here.
This game just shows that Boks even with their braindead game plan is still the ABs biggest rivals. We came so close and could have won that semi had Matfield not done that neckroll and got our penalty reversed. Also braindead
coach of ours not replacing Fourie when he was having a bad game in the wet conditions that is the only time Ruan would have been better and should have yanked Pollard off after 30 min that had a shocking tactical game as well and brought on the better tactical kicker in Lambie. But its all gone and dusted now. Just hope we get a new Bok coach for next year or if Meyer is there all his assisants must go and he has to surround himself with kiwi assisants they the best or the very best in SA or from anywhere in the world I dont care where from but we need the best to coach our Boks.
ABs just looked yesterday 50 levels better than the Aussies. Only Boks put them under pressure no other team and even then they knew how to come out winners. A real championship team that we may never see the likes of again. They were in the last 4 years just brilliant. All their supporters should be very proud of their team. Go and celebrate Cane and all the other kiwis here have a few glasses of red on me. Your team were awesome yesterday and I supported them against the Aussies.
227 @ Nama:
Jy verstaan verkeerd.
London – As far as job reviews go, it was heartfelt and convincing.
A typically impassioned Heyneke Meyer, the coach of South Africa, said his players can go home with their heads held high after finishing third in the Rugby World Cup on Friday, but “I’m always going to look back and wonder ‘what could I have done better’?” (You still don’t know?)
Meyer faces a review of his performance when he gets back, but hopes to stay involved in a team he believes is on the verge of greatness.
Beating Argentina 24-13 in the third-place playoff brought both relief and sadness for Meyer. Sadness that they didn’t win the Rugby World Cup, and relief because it was a brutal year.
It started with narrow losses to Australia and New Zealand, then an historic home loss to Argentina. They restored some pride by winning the return match in Buenos Aires, and Meyer wished they had a couple of more weeks before the World Cup to allow healing players to gain fitness. (Why take them along if they were still unfit?)
@ MacroPolo:
