    Aus really did it there.

To the Aussie RT readers, well done and enjoy the rest of the tournament!

  • 272

Am very very surprised England are out of the World Cup really didn’t think that was what was in the script. Wonder what this will do to the general level of interest in the rest of the World Cup in England?

  • 273

    Tomorrow we have 2 games…

Argentina vs Tonga – 15:30 SA Time
Ireland vs Italy – 17:45 SA Time

  • 274

Hard to believe that the Aussies were able to go up a gear in the second half, but they did. In fact a couple of gears

    @ Just For Kicks:
You should have gone to the Gerry gig 😯

  • 276

I have to say England will be very flat after this as we have been really enjoying the whole RWC vibe.

I am luckier than most as my husband follows Wales and I enjoy your Bok boys so we still have an interest.

See you for the next game or two folks.

  • 277

The modern game 2 fetchers 🙂

  • 278

Personally its sad to see the home team leave, geez, I still remember the 2003 cricket world cup…

Australia have really laid down the marker though.

  • 279

    @ Blue Bird:
Cheers Carol, commiserations, but at least now you can focus on just the Boks

  • 280

    @ Bullscot:#

Great day for you !! 🙂 Hope you enjoyed the vibe of Newcastle

  • 281

England only beating Fiji… then the 2 losses in a row… against Wales and Australia.

A truly difficult Pool of Death!

  • 282

Australia won both their World Cups in the UK

  • 283

    @ Blue Bird:
bad luck blue bird, good luck to your second team.

So true, but no, was a wonderful game to watch. As good as the Bok match, and better if you weren’t a bok supporter. All in all a wonderful day of rugby, and two of the best matches of the tournament so far. Safe travels home. I presume you are on the train?

  • 285

280: Now you can change your name to Early Bird… your team leaving the WC early…

    😯

Another neck tackle that wasn’t properly dealt with hope Burgess is cited for that. Been saying all along he is a dangerous tackler

I am pretty sure that he will be cited. Was definitely a cardable offence. More so than Farrells in my book. It will of course rub salt into the wound when he is cited.

    Oy
Eng lost against a superb Aus team
    but
the Bokke lost against lowly Japan!!!

Nothing for us seffrikans to gloat about, ne?

Lets just be humble, back our team, hope for the best & enjoy the rugby!

    G’nite

He’ll be gutted when he finds out. As will Brown, and he didn’t do anything wrong!

  • 292

    @ Just For Kicks:
Did you see Brown’s interview last week?

Can’t wait to see this week’s interview

  • 293

OK folks, I am outa here!

    See you on the morrow!

I did, what an email. But then so was Lancaster for allowing him to be interviewed. Like I said earlier, he has a touch of the Quad Cooper disease at the moment and he is losing fans (including me) fast with his attitude. No one is bigger than the game, and someone needs to tell him that pretty sharpish

  • 297

the pre game build up at the stadium is ridiculous, England is by far the youngest side of the world cup, but nowehere near experiencd or mature enough to handle the expectations and pressure.

  • 298

    @ grootblousmile:Cheers
@ The_Young_Turk:Cheers, good luck tomorrow, we’ll be shouting the Italians stukkend

  • 299

    @ Blue Bird:
Did thanks was great we got there early and made the most of it as we knew we had to dash back after the game. Big thumbs up to Newcastle.

  • 300

ZA might have lost to Japan, but we are still in it. At least when we hosted the WC we stayed in it and did not fade before making the semi’s.

Take that! He who laughs last, laughs the hardest and longest. Some lesson to learn about taking it out on the Boks before you’re own sheep made it to the shed.

Ohh shit this feels good to be a bok supporter now. Wheep England, wheep. You can now at least watch it on you’re TV when we make it to the final.

You know what is still better than this??!!
Japan might make it to the semi’s and the English won’t!!!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I can keep on with this like forever. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
