Try Bissie, maul controlled well!
Surely we are not allowed to peel around the side of the maul like that… Well i suppose if japan is allowed to 😆
Springboks 12 / 10 Japan
No lambie
should have been 117, not 177
Yes lambie. 😀
Some awesome defense by the japanese
Why the fuck are we kicking an up and under for beast to chase

Defense is also made easier if you know the opposition is going to be running straight at you
The bulls should make an offer to the japanese scrum coach… The scrum still sucks but at least they know how to get the ball out quickly.
Right now, every other team in this comp must be licking their lips at the thought of playing the Boks by now. Thoughts must surely be moving from ‘can we win’ to ‘by how much will we win by’. This is the easiest match in our draw too.
Come on Boks, pull up your socks

Just wait till FdP comes on, then the Japs are toast.
It’s always been our plan to lull them into a false sense of security in the 1st half and make them think they are in with a shout.
@ nortie:
They have also rushed up well. Not conceding penalties either. Im not making excuses, we should thrash them 😆 but credit where its due.
Can’t wait for Eddie to arrive at Newlands, if he can coach Japan to trail the Boks by only 2 points then I believe next year will be our year, for sure
That has to rate as one of the most passionless halves of rugby I have seen by the Boks. Lets hope there are some gees injections floating around the changing rooms about now.
@ nortie:
The same eddie with a 50% win rate with the aussies? 😆
135 @ nortie: If he could bring a couple of these kamikaze pilots with him, even better!!!

Yes, bring them all 😆

Pdivvy saying we are just trying to run over them… He is not wrong.
Japan turning up the pace and our players appear lazy.
Japan cannot win this match (the war), but they’ve won the battle with aplomb. An inspired Japanese showing so far, and have read the Boks like a comic book.
@ MacroPolo:Francois Pienaar saying exactly the same thing over here on British tv
@ Just For Kicks:
I dont think i have ever seen beast and jannie make this many carries in a season
2nd Half ON!
If we should lose to Samoa or Scotland, and let’s be honest, on the first half showing it might be possible, it can come down to point differences, so we need to win with a handy lead
Bokke offside, easy Japan kick at goal
Japan 13 / 12 Springboks
….and Japan take the lead again.
Thank heavens for Lood, Go Boy!!!
Tryyyyyyyy Lood de Jager!
