Not enjoying it in the least, my friend. You think it is lekker for me to get all those calls from my mates?
In any case, the Meyerites were hurting something awful last night. No need for me to give them more stick. Just hope they opened their eyes now.
Nope, they are already hoping he can get JdV, Alberts, Matfield, Pienaar, FdP etc really fit (not the fit and ready he promised us) for the 2019 WC
@ Nama:
@ Nama:
Geluk, sien jy het die geel pet in is op na 1ste in die CC pool
The decline when Meyer could not adapt to the new way that rugby is being played. It gained momentum when a win against the AB became the sole goal for the Meyer and his Boks in 2014. Once they achieved that goal, there was only one way from there.
When a mountaineer reaches the summit of Everest, there is only one way…DOWN!!!
6 losses in 9 matches since that last minute win against the AB, including losses against Arg & Japan, confirms that.
The Samoan players are licking their lips!
The decline started…
@ nortie:
Sal Dobson dieselfde doen as Meyer?
*oor twee weke natuurlik.
‘n Groot Krokkedil het eenkeer gese: “Pas aan of sterf.” (Adapt or die.) (Adapt or lose.)
Wonder wat Meyer sou verkies het?
I have just seen the first Japan match
the boks should take them seriously when they play them next week in the first round
But i am not worried for our brothers in inconsistency

Post of the thread so far!
But to Japan, they surprised one & all!
And welcome to R-T, Sushi, nice to have you here!
South Africa evens Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka and Philippina
as team unable to beat Japan in an official match
nothing to worry though
A Western Province conspiracy this game
truth finally came out !!!
Naughty Eddie !
Nobody can blame Thelo and Gert for getting their timing wrong with the announcement.

One can now only hope that SARU chases away HM after the WC and that the Bulls take him back.
Then Eddie can show him in SR again what a coach with brains can do

Hi rebop75 that’s a nasty stat, put another way Japan have a better record against the Springboks than the mighty All Blacks.
@ nortie:
Would the Bulls supporters want their holiness back after Saturday? They just got rid of Ludeke, who played the same style of rugby…HM’s blue print actually.
But then again, when Hansie was castigated by all and sundry after he took some bribes, his people (the Free Staters) came to his rescue and supported him. I guess the same can happen with HM.
3 more weeks and we are hopefully rid of the clown.
@ Nama:
We live in hope.
They will welcome him back with open arms, they just remember 2007 but conveniently forget the years prior to that, including one SR campaign where the Bulls failed to win even 1 game.
Imagine if Walsh didn’t make those refereeing errors and the Sharks actually won, I wonder where he would be now?

@ nortie:
Yes…I said it two years ago already. All we have every time the Boks take to the field, is HOPE.
NO BELIEVE anymore. One cannot even declare with conviction that we will beat the Samoans this weekend. You actually have to hope that we don’t lose against them as well.
Sorry state of affairs in Bokland. All because of one individual who was given a free ride by most people who should’ve known better…the rugby board…the press…ex players etc.
Naas left the studio after the match on Saturday. Probably did not trust himself to not vent. Last year when Ashwin was scathing in his criticism of HM’s game plan and selections, Mallet and Naas came to his (HM’s) defence in the studio. Brendan Venter wrote an article in which he basically told Ashwin that he has no right to criticise HM like that unless he has pulled on a coaches cloak himself.
Now what?
502 @ Nama:
Naas Botha left the studio early in order to be on time to board a flight to up north where he’ll be inducted into the Rugby Hall of Fame.
@ grootblousmile:
Yep, he and Morne Du Plessis
Well done to both of them, huge honor
@ grootblousmile:
OK…didn’t know that. Just saw that he was not there after the game.
@ nortie:
Huge honor for sure.
to both of them.
I wonder if they were on the same flight and whether they talked about THAT tackle.
@ Nama:
Ha ha, was a great tackle
504 @ nortie:
Article about it would have been up looong time ago IF my farking day did not turn to shit from the outset this morning…
@ Nama:
507 @ nortie:
Flok, ons was kwaad vir Morné… jussie!!
I was there that day, did not sit far from where it happened.
Was ready to lynch Morné ,myself, if his neck was not that long already… hehehe
