I’m going to take a stab in the dark here Sushi,
and say you would be pretty pleased about this result?
😉
Folks, welcome Sushi in SA here on Rugby-Talk… the man is a regular United Nations all by himself, Canadian, Japanese in South Africa, doing wonders here in South Africa and very committed in the communities here in SA.
Fellow web-design nut like myself!
@cane… I had a real dilemma when this game started.. I am Japanese, living in SA and after all said and done, I support the Boks… but what can I say… the Japanese WANTED the win more than the Boks… so I congratulate them with all of my heritage heart… and besides.. this is the year of disruption..everywhere – in sports, in humanity, politics…
going forward though – SA needs to become the disruptor instead of the disrupted.. some strategy needs to be implemented
427 @ Sushi in SA:
Well said…
The question is though, does the Bok coaching staff have the mental and intellectual capacity to change things up a few notches?
Cane is a New Zealander by heart and soul, spirit and body.
Must say, I am looking forward to the All Blacks / Los Pumas game at 17:45 SA Time!
@ Sushi in SA:
Nothing is more sure than …………………………..The Springboks will regroup after this setback.
A Bokke with his back to the wall, is one who has only one option.
As for Japan.
What can be said……………………………Everybody loves an underdog. A truly great win.
Bye for now.
cane.
We need to get back to World Rugby.
How about next year we play Asian Cup & Japan takes our place in Rugby Champions?
430 @ cane:
You going to stay up to watch the All Blacks / Pumas game… it is 01:45 your time, if I am correct?
One of many things I noticed here: only when the sh**t hits the fan, that something gets done or try to get done.. I would imagine this applies the team.. and for all you fundis out there..
what’s the prediction for All Blacks game tonight? Japan was 1500 to 1 odds… I will take Pumas at those odds for R50 – any takers? groot – got a betting facility hidden somewhere?
433 @ Sushi in SA:
Hahaha
No betting facility here… yet!
@ grootblousmile:
“Bokke Coaching Staff”………….
They have no choice.
Heineken’s Loyalty to Victor, Bryan, Schulk, etc is his achilles heal.
From here on in ……………this is series shit…………………there can be no more slip ups.
435 @ cane:
There are more crucial others who you fail to mention… Jean de Villiers, Ruan Pienaar, Coenie Oosthuizen, Willem Alberts.
@ grootblousmile:
Too late for me groot.
I didn’t plan for it,
as I thought (wrongly),
that every favoured Team would win by 13 points plus in the opening round.
Georgia and Japan showed us all that the every Underdog has his day.
437 @ cane:
What?
Can the old bones not take it anymore?
@cane so who is it going to be in the finals? (nuts-on-the-block-time..)
@ grootblousmile:
I have mentioned some of those by name in the lead up groot.
But not Alberts and Oosthuisen.
We too have Pensioners in Our Squad.
Loyalty/Promises made years ……………………………these could come back to haunt us as well.
439 @ Sushi in SA:
My guess is New Zealand vs England or Ireland
@groot lets start a pool… earlier you name the winner in the pool, the more you get – something along those lines..?
Hiroshima & Nagasaki flattened the Boks.
Wonder what our Real Bok team will look like? Because I think we’ve send our Golden Oldies Team to RWC.
Maybe a good thing, then we will have a good team for next year. I think HM is using RWC to build for Rugby Champions.
442 @ Sushi in SA:
Come up with a workable format… and a WordPress Plugin we can use to admin it, and it’s a full go!
We regularly play in the SuperBru prediction competitions… but not for money.
so the under 17’s that you recruit now will be 21 for the RWC…
@groot… prizes to the value of Rxxxx will be the way to go for now.. I could use a new tablet..
USA is toast
446 @ Sushi in SA:
Hahaha
Tablet you say… farkit, half a computer is not enough…
@ Sushi in SA:
SA / NZ.
Draw after 80 minutes……………………28 all.
After extra time (10 minutes each way) still a draw. ……………….31 all.
Then in sudden death …………………………Beauden Barrit steps left, then off his right foot, fends off Jean de Villiers with a hand to the face, leaps over Willie le Roux to score in the corner.
Conversation missed by Dan Carter.
Final Score 36/31.
And then, and only then will the ghost of Susie be finally be put to rest.
(no smilie…………………..this is serious shit Sushi).
Oh WTF…………………………………..it’s only a game after all.
😆
