    Indeed.

Absoluut shocking.
Ruan v…..f sommer self asseblief, Julius Malema is beter op skrumskakel as jy!!!!

  • 303

I said it at half time, and I’ll say it again, there was just no passion in that Bok team. Something is seriously amiss there

  • 304

    I am still stunned!

To think I came back from heaven (the beautiful area where I was since Wednesday in Mpumalanga), to this shit… oi vei!!

    G’night all.

Jy is waaragtig goed daarmee en daai kak eer verdien jy en jou has been’s.

    @ Pietman:
ek dink dis hy….en daar is n groot groot probleem in die bok kamp, jean is kaptein maar matfield vat die bal en se pollard moet pale toe skop…..asof hy eintlik besluit

  • 316

Victor is oud en kon nie meer asem haal nie, toe besluit hy om vinnig vir Pollard te se om te skop dodat hy kan asem skep

  • 317

The World Cup hasn’t been lost yet, but if the boys are going to pull it off, they seriously need to do it on their own, because clearly there is no point listening to the coach. The unfortunate things is that they can’t pick themselves. But I suppose we still need a handicap, Bok rugby just wouldn’t be the same without one

  • 318

ek dink ou jacob zuma is bly oor die uitslag…..vir n wyle is hy darem nie ons grootste verleentheid nie

  • 319

For the first time in my life, I’m really thankful that I could not watch a Bok game because I had to work. Doesn’t get more embarrassing than this. Well, come to think of it, it can get worse … lots of pool games left.

Having said all that: great day for Japanese rugby & for Eddie. Got to respect those little guys.

Apparently HM is a better coach than Jake the Snake – better even than PDivvy. I am still a little perplexed as to what makes a good coach.

  • 323

Luckily our coached told us that he has picked the best 31 players and that all 31 are fit and ready and in the form of their life.
And that he has a plan.

We know the WC only starts in the QF….I’m hoping that his master plan is to actually make the QF

Well done HM, instead of silly records like winning RC and Tri nations, which is easy because even Divvy managed that, you are going for gold and setting records like the first man to coach us to a loss against Argentina and now Japan.

Believe me, your record will be safe, I doubt there is another coach out there that will be able to top you there

A few cringeworthy facts from rugbyworldcup.com:

    – Japan recorded their first World Cup win in 19 attempts, their only one being the 52-8 victory over Zimbabwe in 1991.

    – Japan recorded their first ever win over a tier 1 side at a RWC.

    – Ayumu Goromaru (JPN) scored a RWC record-equalling 24 points against the Springboks, matching Matt Burke’s effort for Australia in 1999.

    – Goromaru, who was making his RWC debut and is Japan’s leading point scorer, on 677, also recorded a Japanese record for points scored against a tier 1 nation, surpassing James Arlidge’s 21 against France in 2011.

    – South Africa conceded a record number of points for them in a World Cup match. The previous record was 29 points against Scotland in 1999, in a game they went on to win, and New Zealand in 2003.

    – Japan’s previous best result against a tier 1 nation in RWC was a 32-16 defeat to Ireland in 1991.

    – Michael Leitch’s try was the first time a Japanese captain has scored in a RWC match.

    – His try was the 99th scored by a captain in RWC history (correct prior to FRA vs ITA).

    – Karne Hesketh emulated his partner Cala Hohepa by scoring against South Africa at a RWC, though she scored a hat-trick for the NZL Ferns in WRWC 2010.

    – At half time, South Africa’s two-point lead was the narrowest held by the side against a tier 2 nation in a RWC match,

    – The 12 first half points conceded by Japan was the fewest conceded by the team in an opening half against a tier 1 nation in RWC history.

    – South Africa were the only RWC team up until this match not to have received a yellow card in test match rugby in 2015, a record they have now lost after Coenie Oosthuizen was sent to the sin bin.

Well, Meyer has been promising us that we would be making records
