Much better handling by the Irish, and it showed in that very good try. Wow, highlight of the match so far!

Living up to their nr 2 on the rankings billing 😉

Wow, and and exact replica for the Scots. Good try

Haha. Thats the difference when you’re number 2 – you can turn it on when needed!!!

    Scotland 22 / 21 Ireland

  • 38

Irish defence (apart from the handling errors) has really let them down this match. A lot of work required in this area

  • 39

    1st decent scrum from Scotland

  • 40

    Try Luke Fitzgerald, Ireland!

  • 41

Thats better rugby by the Irish

  • 42

    Ireland 28 / 22 Scotland

Hi GBS again most likely down to the experimental nature of the teams and am guessing lots of subs on now so cohesion lacking. BUT the exciting thing for me is to read that Scotland are scoring tries.

    Irish strength showing

  • 46

1st miss by Madigan, and probably the easiest. Still a chance for the Scots

Hi JFK don’t know who is on now for Scotland but barring injuries it should be a whole new front row compared to today’s starting one as the first choice for World Cup, it should/could be Edinburgh front row- Dickenson Ford and Nel. Then in the second row there is bound to be at least one if not both Gray bros and then in the back row the bulk of Strauss after the first game. Regarding Josh – he only qualifies to represent Scotland after first game at World Cup so it seems he could play for Glasgow in their preseason warmup against Canada and then in their first PRO12 game against Scarlets. Possibly going to be a time of holding breath and hoping he gets through those unscathed so he can go on to the World Cup but also good in the sense it will give a few games to add to the time they spend on the training.

Scots through 12 phases again, and ends in a penalty to them

  • 49

Without watching the game I am thinking what this game is showing folk who are looking in from the southern Hemisphere is that the teams up north can play fast attractive try scoring rugby especially when conditions are good.

    Gotta go cheers all

For sure, then one thing we know about the Scotland second stringers in the scrum is that when the 1st choice players are back, they’ll look much stronger in that department. Whether they’ll be able to stand up to the like of the Argies, NZ’ers, England, is another story, but thy will be a lot better

Dang, the Scots spill it at the end. Well played Ireland, but the mighty Scots came close. The WC is looking much more exciting and less ‘one sited’ with every warm up match!

    28/22 Ireland Final score

Now…..How have Norts team progressed (the French)

I picked England to win by 16….so that means the Froggies will probably win.

I mustn’t be too nasty with them though, even they are more consistent than the Boks currently 😆

England and France out on the pitch. Its all about Big Sam Burgess today.

  • 57

Twickenham WC management had a practice run today as well. 20 minutes ago, the stands were empty. Pretty impressive.

  • 58

les bleus become the les rouges. Will it help fire them up?

  • 59

France out of the blocks quickly. TMO
