    Tough game to pick.
Home advantage may just do it for the Wallabies.

Both The Boks and da Wallabies can put a very impressive starting 15 on the field.

    Oz by 2.

Miss the fellow…rest assured he would be backing the Boks with his heart but backing Aus on Superbru.

    @ BrumbiesBoy:

Haha…. He is like a fresh breath of air amongst the stiff upper lips ..reminds me of Hendrik Schoeman’s (Minister of transport during the NP regime ) response to a complaint from a member of the public about the quality of food served by the SAA : “Wil julle vreet of wil julle vlieg ” .

  • 6

@ nortie: all GB needs to do is e-mail the oke and send him an instruction(after a sincere apology) to report back for duty. Simple.

  • 7

@ BrumbiesBoy: he’s pretty much made an industry of that. However, personally, I’m quite happy that an oke speaks his mind and takes the fallout on the chin, as he’s pretty much made his own historically.

    Which translated means???? 🙂

  • 9

It translates to that Ben Schoeman was the minister of transport en Hendrik Schoeman the minister of agriculture.

  • 10

Don’t worry BB, these Schoemans all sound the same!
    Worry
Loosely translated it means; “What’s the problem, would you rather eat like a pig or fly”?

    Sies Disapproval

  • 11

    @ BrumbiesBoy:
“Would you like to eat like pigs, or would you rather fly?” sounds a tad bit more correct methinks.

How is the poor oke going to vent his anger about anything non-pw?

    Sad

Having to choose between having bacon and flying is a tough one.

Ha ha….seems like those anonymous e-mails that Jan and Pollard sent has done the trick 😆

He has probably been lurking their facebook pages, unliking pictures 😆

    Morning sports fans!!

👿 Looking forward to seeing how our midfield combos stacks up today, we need Pollard to fire today, or think about considering another option…

Nope.. Hendrik also served as Minister of transport and it was indeed him who spoke those words.

Watching the Maori All Blacks vs New Zealand Barbarians. Very well matched game.

  • 21

More boys and girls. Anticipating a good one in two hours. Going to be mighty interesting. Vic, Skalla, Pollard, Kriel and then some. I’ll also be watching the front row very closely. This one’s the coach’s first mega test in the final straight. Huge game.

  • 22

    @ Tassies:
It’s going to be the proverbial cracker I think, boet. Am especially looking forward to the battle of the loosies & will watch with even more interest when Pocock comes on.

    Enjoy & good luck!

  • 23

Maori v Kiwi Barb game very scrappy. Like a 15 man version of 7’s. Zero structure.

  • 24

@ BrumbiesBoy: Yip. This is the game of the turn-over kings. Flo v Pocock (later) will be v interesting. Hooper v Marcel(both very busy players). Higgenbottom v the newly re-positioned Schalk. What a feast??? Deep down, I think Schalk will do the business. Such a quality rugby player. He could play wing if asked.

  • 25

    @ Tassies:
    Approve

  • 26

we’ve spoken about a lot of things pre-game but one key swinger for me will be who wins the battle of the front rows. If that potent Oz backline is starved of first phase ball then we will likely win the Test. If not, then we could be chasing shadows all day long and lose this one.

  • 29

Turnover possession will dictate which team gets on the front foot..
Michael Hooper will have his hands full against Bissie and Flo. Schalk will have to play a different game today – more of a linker and ball carrier. As well as being their in cover defence. Am looking forward to seeing how he goes at 8.

    @ Tassies: @ 21

Exactly what Naas said now in the studio. Huge game needed by Jannie and Beast.
