Apart from tht little mistake, Perenara is outplaying Smith at this stage imo.
Piet, this is fantastic rugby. Would be nice if we could still play rugga like this. Poor coaching is at the root of the problem.
Wow!
Not a try, me thinks.
That MUST be the try of the season – if given. WOW
Try Elliot Dixon, Landers?
TMO
Massive!!
THAT is a bloody try, fantastic… surely it is!!
I don’t think that can be given. What a shame
…or is it?
I think he still has control as it touches the ground.
Okaaaay!
Try man, all day!
Awarded it is!!
Try of the season!
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
how is this guy? I haven’t seen a better try this year. Brilliant.
Highlanders 13 / 5 Hurricanes

Right on half-time as well….and Sapoaga slots it!
This is just too good, will have to watch a few replays to soak this all up later.
80: soos Barret nou skop hoop ek hy speel teen ons in die semi.
Man, I am enjoying this game!
“Intense”… that’s the right word.
Great game, eh?
(controversial try that last one)

these guys have certainly come to throw a party. A rugby party.
Has anybody spotted Cane yet?
GB, what’s up with the server boet? Struggling?
The last time these two teams met, the Canes won 56-20.
Definitively not going to happen today.
What is clearly coming through in this game is that, although both sides want to win, you can clearly see why each and every player is playing the game. Enjoyment. The way they have played, the passing, interactions, quick taps and the risks.
Enjoyment is certainly something that has gone out of our game. We are too scared of losing. and have lost sight of the bigger picture. I think fuck the politics, the players need to take the game back, and remember why they are really playing it.
Not only will we have happy players, I guarantee our rugby will improve game in our favour, and make for a better spectacle.
113 @ Tassies:
All seems fine… will quickly run a few tests…
How many tries would Naas have scored carrying eight players to the try-line? Like Dixon? Hundreds maybe? And he always kept the defenders underneath him to protect his shorts for getting dirty. Amazing strength and talent.
@ Just For Kicks:
“We are too scared of losing…”
You’ve nailed it right there.
@ grootblousmile: dankie. Miskien dis net ek, maar…….
Canes moet eerste score, anders is dit game over.
Hoop net nie die Canes het ‘n afrigter in hul midde wat gewoond is aan choke in super finale nie.
