SA logoPlease take note of the following road closure information if you will be attending the Springboks vs All Blacks Test match on 25 July 2015.

  • Road Closures for the inner precinct around Emirates Airline Park will start from Friday Night 24 July.
  • From 06:00 SA Time on Saturday morning 25 July a ‘soft closure’ (security only will be present and outer points leading into precinct will be closed).
  • From 10:00 SA Time full closure (all roads within the precinct and full JMPD deployment will take place).

All internal roads from Albertina Sisulu, Charlton Terrace, Bertrams Street, Joe Slovo Drive on and off ramps & Beit Street will be closed from 10:00 SA Time.

The following outer roads will be closed:

  • Albertina Sisulu Road & Gouws Street, Error Road, Dawe Road
  • Joe Slovo Drive & Beit Street
  • Joe Slovo Drive & Saratoga Street
  • Siweright & Suzie Street
  • Van Beek & Charlton Terrace

 

MESSAGES FROM SAPS:

  1. Please do not purchase any tickets from anybody in the street as they are probably counterfeit tickets
  2. Please do not be intimidated by the illegal parking attendants – SAPS will assist in removing these individuals from the precinct
  3. Make sure that all valuable items are removed from vehicles so criminal theft activity can be reduced

 

MESSAGES FROM SECURITY:

  1. No tickets means no entry into the stadium. Please do not come to the stadium to look for tickets on game day as these will not be available.
  2. Children must also have a valid ticket for entry.
  3. Patrons will be searched at entry points.
  4. No cans, bottles or any food items will be allowed into stadium.
  5. No drinking is permitted from the boot of vehicles.
  6. No braais in non-dedicated areas such as sidewalks. Braais are only permitted in the WEBER AREA at Johannesburg Stadium.
  7. Patrons to look out for the allocated parking signs around precinct if they have purchased parking. All parking is now sold out. Supporters are encouraged to use the Gautrain and Park and Ride SA facilities.
