Always sucks losing no matter who we lose too they all hurt equally bad, but to conpare losing in a range of “bad to worse” sucks.

The Proteas should not lose a series to Bangladesh, and no amount of sugar coating can change that.

Miskien het hulle die wedstryd en reeks ge-Hansie?

Die odds moes goed gewees het

@ Victoriabok: my feeling exactly VB. Some (like Skoppie for ie.) used to be totally over the top. However, he certainly added colour to our previous life and, aside from that, always contributed a useful insight and alternative view to the average stereotype. I enjoyed our discussions.

@ IAAS: Whilst I have a lot of respect for GB for this site’s creation and the manner and spirit in which we interact, I agree, the response to Nama was totally out of court and out of character I’d think. I had to read it twice to confirm its reality. Then I suspected the ‘bear with a sore head’ condition. I’d be most surprised and disappointed if an apology wasn’t forthcoming.

@ IAAS: agree on both points.

    @ Tassies:

    Hi Tassies,
The manner in which Nama was addressed was not only out of court. It was downright disgusting.

Nama was just conducting a normal debate on a rugby forum. We all know that there are transformation issues to be measured against. No secret there. So what if he mentioned that black Boks are mostly picked at loosehead or on the wings/fullback. That is the truth.

And he was very much against a black Bok being picked ahead of an in-form white guy. He even called it windowdressing, which he doesn’t buy into. Where’s the political posturing there?

Yet all of a sudden Nama has political issues. What utter garbage.
