Former Ricoh Black Rams flyhalf Louis Fouché has been named in the Vodacom Blue Bulls touring squad to Japan for their match against the Canon Eagles on Friday 31 July.

Fouché played for the Japanese outfit last year and has been included in the 27-man squad that will travel to Japan on Friday.

Springboks Francois Hougaard, Arno Botha, Deon Stegmann, Werner Kruger, Dean Greyling and Bandise Maku are all amongst the travelling group.

Vodacom Blue Bulls coach Nollis Marais said the trip will be an important one for the squad.

“This tour will help a lot with team building and should provide us with an ideal opportunity to work on a number of things, without the normal distractions at home. We showed some good signs in PE against the Kings, but I believe that the Canon Eagles will ask a few different questions and we need to adapt to that as well.”

“I am also keen to see more combinations in a match situation, so it will be important for us to get things going in that match.”

Louis Fouché is a 1-dimentional mule… time some more youngsters are drafted in and Fouché farmed out to pasture.

I certainly hope Tian Schoeman gets 1st choice at flyhalf, above Fouché!
