Chiefs looking dangerous. This ain’t going to be any one-sided contest. That’s clear enough.
Another Chiefs penalty, this one an easier one… and it will be a shot again
Horrell misses the relative sitter…

One man does not make a scrum, but Retallick at lock is quite a distance the best lock in the world if not the best player, so is sure to make a difference, the Highlanders scrum is not too bad either.
Fabulous play by the Landers now. Breath-taking really.
Grrr Buckman threw away a try there
@ MacroPolo: Yip. Not for nothing the WPofTY.
Accidental offside as someone of the Chiefs runs into Tameifuna, Landers scrum!
… still hungry… maybe I should pour another bowl of Shredded Wheat…
what a try
Tryyyyyyyyyyy Waisake Naholo, Landers!!
WHOA!
Fucking amazing
Best scrumhalf ever
Highlanders 8 / 3 Chiefs
we’ve just witnessed the best for the best scrumhalf in world rugby. Doesn’t warrant a debate.
Chiefs penalty, right in front on the 22… easy peasy shot
Match officials favouring the Chiefs

Yip, flash backs of Ricky January at his best….right there in Dunedin
should have been a scrum, the Chiefs hitting back hard, Mckenzie getting over the advantage line at will.
Another Chiefs penalty, their own side of halfway though… about on their own 10m line

Gareth Edwards No 1, Joost No 2, then Ricky and the rest, imho.

by the end of his career there will be no doubt, or even if the All Blacks defend their world title, it will be because of Aaron… Like I said before, I have no doubts as to the influence he has with the All Blacks compared to everyone else.
Eventually you all will see 😉

Yeah, I definately had Gareth Edwards and Joost van der Westhuizen clearly in mind when I said that! Ricky had his moments… but eish…

I am not going off topic with this debate any longer, but just the fact that he is imo the best in the world currently by a country mile, is telling.

52 @ Pietman:
Also I am basing my opinion on the Test match NZ played with France where they kept kicking those pin point up and unders… Aaron smith could play any type of game (kicking, passing, running) and still be brilliant at it… whatever the team needs.
55 @ MacroPolo:
He is very, very good Moosa, we’re not contesting that… and we also know you like him stukkend… we get it, really!
This McKenzie is a lively fella
very late tackle
