Dan Pryor’s Super Rugby season is likely over after the versatile forward suffered a dislocated elbow in his side’s Qualifier triumph over the Chiefs.
Pryor came from the field in the 61st minute and the Highlanders confirmed via social media on Sunday morning that the 27-year-old had suffered the injury.
Head coach Jamie Joseph confirmed that Pryor will definitely miss next week’s Semi-Final against the Waratahs.
“He’s a big loss for us and Alex Ainley’s played on a really crook knee, and he’s tweaked that again,” head coach Jamie Joseph said.
“Malakai’s scratched his eye. Because it’s an eye there’s some sensitivity around the area but I think he will be fine.”
