The Vodacom Bulls are totally mum as to who could possibly succeed Frans Ludeke as their new Super Rugby head coach.
Media speculation has been rife about possible candidates for the new post in Pretoria.
Junior Springbok coach Dawie Theron is being mentioned as a possible successor to Ludeke, who was stood down despite having another year left on his contract.
Despite the Theron rumours, the Bulls insist no decision has been made yet.
“The Blue Bulls Company (BBC) will not comment about rumours about possible coaches mentioned in the media,” CEO Barend van Graan said.
Springbok lock Victor Matfield has also been touted as a possible head coach, as well as current Springbok assistant coach Johann van Graan.
There were also rumours that Bok coach Heyneke Meyer could return to the Bulls if his contract with the national team is not renewed later this year.
Another possibility is Jimmy Stonehouse, who has been so successful with the Steval Pumas, before taking up a position in Japan, and who has thrown his name in the hat for the Bulls, Sharks and Stormers coaching positions recently.

They will stall for as long as possible… is what I said just after Ludeke stepped down… to see if they can rope Heyneke back in.
I recon the chances of us seeing Johan van Graan as head coach is big, with Victor Matfield and Fourie du Preez as his 2 main Assistants… and if Heyneke’s tenure as Bok coach is not extended, with him returning to the Bulls as Director of Rugby!
Is DIIIIT hoe Barend lyk???!
