@ nortie: indeed. Its how those Kiwis play. They get the ball. They score. Some(most) of our teams simply don’t know how to do that.

Yes the NZ teams have looked incredible this year.
My only consolation is that they can only field 15 players at a time in the WC.
They could enter more than 1 team and probably face each other in a final if allowed to lol.
@ grootblousmile: and that one assumes Stormers beat the Lions and finally the Sharks. That’s not a racing certainty either.
33 @ Stormersboy:
Yeah… it’ll be 15 good ones though, plus 8 more good ones off the bench, who all have ball skills.
But the Rugby World Cup is a strange old beast… and we are still in with a chance.
34 @ Tassies:
Stormers should at least win one of the 2, if not both, I recon.
The Lions for all their flair, passion and exciting play is still very beatable… and of course the Sharks are kak this year.
But if the Stormers do not win either game, they will battle to win the 3 playoff / finals games… and the chances would be freegin slim to win the title.
I recon if you do not sit in position No 1 or 2 on the Combined Log, you are rather fucked!

@ Stormersboy: we have more chance of winning the next Soccer World Cup than this RWC. We don’t have a backline anywhere close to matching the world’s best teams. At best we’re No 6. Probably lower than that still.
@ grootblousmile: pretty much agree. But the Stormers also lose games they should win. That’s the point. SA team consistency. Uber poor.
what’s more, I don’t think our Bok forwards are going to dominate opposition as much as would like. Its actually the composition and form of the tight five which concerns. PSD, EE, Rooikop, Biz & ? Are they collective world-beaters? Not so sure about that.
2nd Half ON!
40 @ Tassies:
Heyneke Meyer certainly has an uphill battle ahead to mould a mottly Super Rugby crew into a beating unit for the Bokke….
Dan Carter for goal again
Crusaders 20 / 6 Blues
I think we can comfortably and safely say that the SARU / SA Franchises Super Rugby Rest policy and agreement was a huge failure in 2015.
We are still light years behind how the New Zealanders do it with their Central Contracting, and until we Centrally contract… we will stay behind in this aspect, amongt the aspects where we also suck the hind tit!
Blues 5m scrum… come on Blues, show some backbone, man!
Saders steal Blues ball on the line… and start a counter-attack from their own line
Saders ook glad nie meer die span wat hul was nie, maar hul kan op die dag as hul click ander spanne seer maak.
Eindig hul 6de, kan dit span nr 3 onder groot druk plaas.
Robbie Fruean off injured…
48 @ Ben-die-Bul:
Yip…
Try Luke Whitelock, Saders!
TMO
Nemani Nadolo doing all the initial damage and then popping a brilliant offload
No try, there was obstruction, Blues penalty on their own 10m line
5m Saders scrum, after tremendous pressure in following up and hunting the Blues down
Saders 5m penalty, Blues flanker was ruled as detatched too early from the scrum
Penalty Try, Saders, as the Blues scrum is monstered!
Crusaders 27 / 6 Blues
Saders have 18 minutes to get their bonus point try….
Saders penalty, quick tap and go… Saders get within 5
McCaw over… try?
I don’t think so!
