Tahs win the Canes with rush-up defense. Brumbies tried the same thing. Caves countered by playing the game wide. Quick passes taking the back away from collision areas. That to Pocock it off the match as well.
Good job Hurricanes. Richly deserved. Hiome final and all. Now they just have to win it.
Final Score: Hurricanes 29 / 9 Brumbies
4 Tries to ZIPPPP says it all!
Many of these cover tackles are made by the Canes vetties, Geez talk about superior fitness.
Awesome rugby. So much better than the shit thats dished up week after week in SA.
I predict an embarrassing WC for us.
Geluk aan die Canes, welverdiend.
Brumbies was in die game tot en met die afskop, daarna was dit net een span.
Hi Cane.Well done your team.
OK, see you okes in a little while, the next game is at 11:55 SA Time… I have just over half an hour to shop and be back!
Congrats Cane and Canes supporters.

Canes in total contro
Congrats cane, try again next year BB
Bad luck BB
Cane the man…congratulations to you & your team, mate, worthy winners & here’s hoping that you go all the way next week!

Agree on both points.
Well done Canes. They played some awesome rugby and have done all season. Pleased to see them in the final and hope they win it. Would really enjoy Plum to get his first SR cup. So wish we still had him at the Sharks. John certainly messed up big time to let him go. What a pity as he really wanted to stay at Sharks. Our huge loss and Canes gain for sure. He is one of the best forward coaches for sure.
Gongrats to our kiwi brother here Cane. Your team definitley deserve to be holding the final and hope they win it.
@ Puma:
Hi pal.Trust that you are well.
Agree with you re:Plum.
Can Shark supporters bask in reflected glory?
kind regards.
@ BrumbiesBoy:
Thank you for your gracious post BB.
Your Team was always up against it………………………..Canberra to Cape Town.
Then home again.
Then come Thursday………………..Canberra to Sydney, Sydney to Wellington.
That shit sucks it out of you.
Sometimes it’s not even the actual travel ……………………………………….but the down time boredom of waiting for a connection.
The travel factor is huge come Finals Time in S15.
You can still take a great deal of pride in your Teams efforts this year. They are a a very very good Team.
cane.
@ Puma:
Our Head Coach got his grounding in Durban as well…………………………….Chris Boyd.
As I said once before, we are SharkieVarkies B.
😉
@ cane:
Good luck to your team next week. There are 2 very skillful teams playing the same brand of attacking rugby.
I take it you already have tickets to the match. Or are planning on getting there.

Thanks Guys,
This will be only Our 2nd Final. And Our first ever Home Final.
Whatever happens next week,
there will be a new Champion to grace the list of those who have gone before:
The Bulls,
The Brumbies,
The Tahs,
The Reds,
Crusaders,
The Blues,
and the Chiefies.
The shit hits the fan sooner or later…………………………………………….I just hope it’s not next week for the Canes.
(imagine the ignominy, if my Hurricanes lose next week……………………….that will make us the ONLY NZ Team not to have won this thing).
For some of us, there is never a half glass that is full.
😉
@ IAAS:
10 minutes from Time,
I said to my Son………………………………”Are we going”.
He replied……………………………”you bet, and you are paying”.
But Tickets will go very quickly IAAS.
So we will have to wait and see.
😉
@ cane:
You’ll kick yourself if you don’t.
You’ve gotta live life with no regrets. Just do it.
You can thank me later.
