Great kick, wow, that will get the tails up even more
@ Stormersboy: one can accept the odd missed tackle. But it certainly appears as if the Sharks have a seriously leaky defence overall, by the way you guys are calling the game.

Hello Mud Island Dweller & Kitaarsnaar!
Hopeless by the guppies
@ nortie: I’ll stick with the Landers over the Canes any day of the week Nortie. Note: I did qualify this by saying ‘on the break’
Landers attack again and Mvovo manages to save the situation.

124 @ grootblousmile:Howzit GBS, and everyone else – good match to see in the long weekend, love this Landers style of play!

I think that there have been a few errors on both sides but the landers are just so much better at this looser style of game, they are able to capitalise in an instant, and get up-field so quickly. Sharks almost concede a quick try in exactly this fashion, Mvovo carries it over the touch in goal line to bring up half time.
Nouja manne… nou moet ek daai koffie bou waarvan ek gepraat het!
Half time, I am out for a while.
@ grootblousmile: It is starting to look like a point of no return. But stranger thinks have happened in this vastly unpredictable game of ours.
@ Tassies:
Sharks defensive lapses are “due to Brendan” 🙄
Agree that the Landers are deadly on the break, but even the Stormers showed against the Waratahs that they can be deadly on the counter
@ Stormersboy: We’ve seen it ourselves and it’s often said: they use Ben Smith to counter and sow havoc amongst opposing defences. His team-mates simply wait for the fallout and pounce like hyenas to the carcass.
128 @ Just For Kicks:
Yeah, I like their style of play too…
Traditionally strong up front, and now a very balanced side… both on attack and defence, both forwards and backs.
@ nortie: Agree the Stormers apply the same tactic but the Landers are a cut above IMO.
@ Stormersboy: ditto. Catch up with you guys later. I need some exercise while its still light.
132 @ Tassies:
Tas-man,
I would not mind if the Landers win, to be frank.
Where in “Rooi China” are you and what do the Chinese ladies look like in that neck of the woods… apart from skrefies-ogie-like?
2nd Half ON!
Yeah, I agree, GBS, as a neutral, in this game, I just want rugby to wine, at in the 1st half, it was the Landers who were playing that.
Jis GBS,
Worried about time zone fatigue netting the Sharks in the second half as well…
Sharks maul penalty, kicked for touch.
Reinack subbed by Hoffmann… now they have no chance
Very good driving try, if given.
Try Bissie?
Try no try is the question
Inconclusive
Hmmm, certain try if he’d passed that ball
Sharks pounding away at the Landers line, but the Landers defence holds well!
Over but held up again
Guppies making an absolute meal of that. Zeilinger really should have had a bit more vision and missed out JP with that short pass
The bash me up stuff of the Sharks is ferocious…but too easy to read…
Highlanders defending like soldiers
