Phew. Only took the ‘Saders by 5, but I guess a win is a win.
While the performance of the Saders worked out well for my bru, it certainly is not good news afa the Stormers is concerned. If they win their next two matches wit BP’s, they may very well replace either the Brumbies (who they face in their last match) or the Highlanders (who has a couple of tough matches against the Chiefs and the Canes coming up) in 6th position. That would probably mean that they’ll face the Stormers in the play off at Newlands.
We know how poor the Stormers’ record against the Saders is. I’d rather we face the Brumbies or the Highlanders.
Here’s hoping that the Brumbies will beat the Force next week to ensure their play off spot and that the Highlanders will win at least one of the 3 games they have left to ensure theirs.
