It is now a run-away game….
The Guppies must be kicking themselves for missing out on these Free State players…..what were they thinking?
John Smit is probably on his bicycle with his cheque book in hand on his way toe Bloem as we speak
Shimlas want more… Pukke a finished side…. wheels off
Dalen Goliath forced out…
Shimlas forward pass…. time is up, but htere will be a last Pukke scrum
Pukke penalty, offside play at the ruck
Play still continues… try Beukman, Pukke… to restore some pride
Final Score: FNB UFS-Shimlas (26) 63 / 33 (20) FNB NWU-Pukke

And we have a new and deserved Varsity Cup champion!!
@ grootblousmile: mother. That turned out to be a hiding. And the Pukke are not a bad side. What the hell happened?
131 @ Tassies:
Shimlas just turned up the Volume knob, and hit overdrive…
Pukke was in it for a long time and they were definately not bad at all for at least 60 minutes.
@ grootblousmile: beste ter wereld. Room. Garlic. Rooiwyn. Lekker.
dis hoe ons rol….
@ grootblousmile: well I would never have guessed the final score. That’s for sure.
135 @ Tassies:

Geluk Smallies… al is dit die enigste ding wat julle gaan wen die jaar… hehehe
Just been watching folk ‘crane-in’ a massive generator onto the property across the road from the restaurant I’m sitting outside here in Florida Road. People are taking Eskom seriously I see. And so they should. This ‘crisis’ is here to stay. Our factory generator is on order. Sad as it is.
@ smallies: Are you going to Bloem airport to greet John Smit when he arrives tomorrow?
@ grootblousmile:
Shimlas unbeaten through the season… only 1 draw agaianst Tuks
Excellent climax to the Varsity Cup… and may the Varsity Cup competition last for many, many years to come!
I’m going to settle the check and turn in folks. I see Piet has gone to sleep so I’m in good company. Must be his age. 😥
