Good luck Stormers…..
Difficult to see anything other than a resounding Hurricane victory, but stranger things have happened.
Arme WP. Gaan goed op hulse bliksem kry vandag.
Only hope for the Stormers is to try and dominate at front, use the driving mall, kick the leather off the ball to try and get territorial advantage and to force penalties and to defend like crazy. If they dare to play expansively and mix it up with the lethal and huge backs of the Canes they are going to get pummeled.
Good luck though, a victory is unlikely but as Nortie has said, stranger things have happened.

Nehe Milner-Skudder’s Uncle Buff,
was the second Maori to Officially play in SA,
when he came on as a replacement against Border in East London, 20/06/1970.
@ robzim:
Stormers Forwards extremely experienced.
I’m picking a very hard close game.
@ cane:
Evening Caner….so you reckon Hurricanes by a small margin?
By the way, well done to your team so far, setting the bar very high and 6/6, can’t ask for more.
Now that your forwards have also come to the party, definitely one of the best balanced side in the comp this year.
You have always had the backs, now it’s close to the complete package.
Game ON!
If any team has the defensive system to effectively block the Hurricanes running game, it is the Stormers.
Think it will be a close affair!
Canes penalty, just outside the Stormers 22, shot at goal for Barrett
Hurricanes 3 / 0 Stormers
Schalk telling the ref what he thinks of him.
You can’t do that if you’re not the Captain surely?
😆
Is Juan injured or is he being rested as per the SARU agreement ?
Stormers penalty and The Greek slots it
Hurricanes 3 / 3 Stormers

Let off for the Stormers there as a fatty spills it.

Hello Herr Gunther
@ nortie:
Fortunately the ref doesn’t know what aii suga means.
😆
The Canes causing all sorts of havoc in defence for the Stormers… Stormers barely hanging on at times and only Canes own knocks saving the Stormers
@ grootblousmile:
Bon dia jefe.
Canes very, very kickable penalty…. Barrett will slot this eyes closed… and does.
Hurricanes 6 / 3 Stormers
Canes penalty on about the middle spot… kicked to touch

Sort of like this? 😆
It was announced that Matfield would be “rested” according to SARU’s agreement with the franchises this week, but supersport.com revealed earlier this week that Matfield actually has a knee injury which could be much more serious than expected.
While the Bulls team release continued to pronounce Matfield as being “rested” this week, Ludeke did admit that the lock has a knee injury and thus wouldn’t technically “be resting”.
Matfield will see knee specialist Dr Daan du Plessis on Thursday to ascertain the extent of the injury, but the initial prognosis is a three to four week layoff for the big lock.
Depending on the state of his knee, and how much cartilage damage there is, it may change as well, with the Bulls waiting on the final word before announcing their decision.
Ludeke said they couldn’t technically rest Matfield because according to the agreement they needed to inform SA Rugby a week in advance when they will be resting players.
“Victor has an injury, we need to declare him the Thursday before the next week that we are going to rest him. You can’t take a player through the week and hope he will play and then if can’t say you will rest him. You need to declare him a week ahead. You have to make your call up front,” Ludeke explained.
“We are honest, we want to be transparent with making calls like that. We value players’ health and we will back the system. That’s why you need player depth and talent and quality all around in the players.”
