Strafskop waar die bal geland hwt dankie
Phew
No it is a penalty where the ball landed for a late tackle… now it is very kickable
Bulls 18 / 15 Lions
Lions try…. Akker van der Merwe
Final Score: Emirates Lions (6) 22 / 18 (9) Vodacom Buls
Wow… well done Lions… a great steal right at the end of the game.
4 Wins in a row for the Lions, 3 of them away from home
Much better game than the one before, even though the only try was scored in the 80th minute
Bulls now top the SA Conference
At least we have ONE SA team winning on the weekend…
Well, that is Round 8 of Super Rugby 2015 done and dusted
Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Great fielding of the kickoff by Spies.
😆
We’re having a bit of a party tomorrow… braai & kuier… 25 min away from our house tomorrow… so do not expect much from me tomorrow.
Another unbelievably gutsy display from the Lions.
I am becoming a big Ackers and Whitely fan.
Bad luck to the Bulls fans – your boys really tried hard.
2 Evenly matched teams.
Game could have gone either way but the No Name Team stuck in there.
SA Rugby needs to do some soul searching IMHO.
Goodnight all.
Gonna prepare for tomorrows golf with a few STIFF Captains.
Maybe it helps my putting.
@ Scrumdown:
Didn’t help me this afternoon
Well done Lions!
@ Charo:
Glasses are busted so it really is hit and miss.
Casual game at ERPM. N presdure.
@ Scrumdown:
Oh sorry man.
ERPM is a nice course.
Main thing is to have fun.
Well done to the lions. The bulls never even look ed line they Would threaten the lions 22 line
@ MacroBull:
How about JLP pulling a “Kolbe”?
One moment flapping about as if he had a broken leg, then once he got the penalty, jumping up and taking the kick….more Razzie award than Oscar award winning stuff though
@ nortie:
Ya, I was surprised too
🙁
But then you got to give it to the Bulls for teaching Earl Rose, sorry, Jantjies I mean a lesson!
🙂
He went for an eye gouge under the ruck but was striking a bumshlag instead,,,,,
heir apparent to Januarie and Benjamin, a great heritage of eye gougers
😀 😀 😀
@ Hondo:
Nah, Elton is doing just fine….
IMO, he has come back from Japan a better player, unlike those that play in Japan and then return to the Sharks.
At least he has added some strings to his bow while playing there.
Hats off to a group of players who play as a team and for their teammates, led by a true leader.

The video below shows a high tackle straight to the neck by Kolbie, haven’t seen any reference to that ‘tackle’ so far

It begs some questions:
1. Is he considered a player who may be held accountable for his actions by the NZ & Aus Refs?
(he IS on a Midgets Protection plan by SARU)
😀
2. where was Nama to explain the infraction?
