Tough call first up…..I see most kenners have tipped the Crusaders.
Talk of desperation, backs to the wall, won’t lose 2 in a row at home etc, yet the same kenners have all tipped the Bulls to beat the Sharks, who is probably just as desperate to win as the Crusaders and also at home.
One gets the feeling that when it comes to tipping the Saders, most still think of them as the 7 times championship team, but if one is honest, then this current team is a far cry from a champion team.
On current form the Chiefs look slightly better, and with SBW and Tim Nanai-Williams back, they should do well.
I’ll have SBW over Carter any day, Same Cane is equal or better than McCaw at the moment and Messam doesn’t take a step back to Read.
Crusaders can very easily win this game, but if 2015 SR has proven anything, it’s that home ground advantage doesn’t count for so much this year.
