Apparently he shed something like 10 kgs since….

Thanks but what a KAK game.

One team was just less shit than the other.

Where are the carefree, happy to be in the competition Lions of 2014?

That said, I suppose an ugly win is still a win.

I will discuss such matters with the Captain later in the day.

    @ Pietman:
Sorry Piet can’t help you there.

But I do remember folanke……………………………………….most likely ………………………the most banned poster ever on Voldy.

“Ig” gave every poster just enough rope to hang themselves.

And folanke took all the rope available.

O’Connor and Beale catching up after the final whistle….Look out Brisbane Police, tonight you will have your hands full when those two go for their usual piss up

    126 @ Scrumdown:
Agree, both those teams must be the dumbest rugby sides in the comp, Blues shunning penalties in front of the post, then trying for one later when it’s too late.
Lions last year had no sponsor and wanted to prove they should have been there instead of the Kings……now they have the sponsor and money is in the bank, no threat of relegation and are not quite the unknown factor they were in 2014…..and the biggest problem is they think what worked in the CC against weak teams will work in SR

    125 @ Pietman:
He is the Maradonna of Rugby Union.

Fat / thin, fat / thin.

I just hope he doesn’t get the same “white line fever” as the little Argie.

    Boys will be Boys.

    😉

    @ Scrumdown:
If the Lions took the draw last week they could have been higher on the log than the Sharks and Bulls, even if they have played one more game…..if those sides lose today, Lions would have been 3rd of the SA sides….much better position

Does that mean he shaved and got a haircut?
Remember when Breytie went to France and came back 5 kilos heavier, but with that huge Afro accounting for the weight gain

His real name was Frankie, pronounced “folanke” in Chinese, came from a sleepy hollow in the Orange Free State called Edenburg, or so he told Jinx at the time, mad as a hatter, old Frankie.

@129 Reds not far behind this year on the stupidity stakes, something went wrong there in Qland.

Ireland / Zimbabwe locked in a Titanic struggle in Hobart.

    (Okay that’s a slight exaggeration……………………………but only slightly).

The Minnows have done very well thus far in the CWC………………………………………….better than the minnows do at the RWC for example.

Poor recruitment drive…..looks like they went to police file and asked for their top 5 worst offenders and contracted them….from a cocaine dealer to a repeat offender all the way from France.

I agree…..the Black Caps have fared excellently so far 😆

  • 142

Ok, cheers all, off to the dentist, see you at the Bulls game….hopefully with all my chompers still intact…wouldn’t want to be confused with some of those supporters down at Newlands! Overjoy

    @ nortie:
    Look Naughtie,
Even if Our Black Craps lose in the Quarter Finals………………………………they have had a golden run,
and I love them for it.
Whatever happens from here on in, is a bonus for us Kiwi’s.

What about Your Chokers……………………………………I think they can go all the way…………………They have as good a chance as any other Team. Because THEY ARE as Good as any other Team. Forget today…………………………….Tomorrow is a new day.

  • 144

    143 @ cane:
I fancy your Black Caps have a better chance of winning the WC than our Chokers.
Your bowlers are bowling very well and all your batsmen are chipping in when it counts
