there have been only 4 standout Stormers this afternoon. The front row and De Allende. The rest have been average, poor our simply outplayed by their opposite number.
Stormers player played in the air, penalty, they kick it out
that touch finder 😯
Another Stormers penalty on their own 10m line, The Greek kicks it out on the Chiefs 22
that last tackle about summed up the game.
going to be a very long year for the Saffa sides… except against the blues.
Final Score: Chiefs (13) 28 / 19 (16) DHL Stormers
Well deserved win at the end by the Chiefs.
Stormers started very well and showed why they are at the top end of the log, so I’m not going to be hard on them, they showed some class as well, especially the scrums and when the backline worked
Well done Chiefs, you grew stronger, whilst the Stormers faded!
Only 1 unbeated side left, the Canes!
Not a great 2nd half from the Stormers
@ Pietman:
hoe se almal altyd, “dit was n wake up call”
De Allende was only good in the 1st 25 minutes, thereafter he was average to poor.

That second half was like a repeat of last week… only the stormers were on the other side this time.
If the sharks rest, Coetzee, Lambie and PSDT then it can end very badle at Kings Landing
@ nortie:
ten minste
@ nortie:
Hoor hier korperaal…sien jy daai gaan hasl n blaar @ nortie:
@ nortie:Troep..sien jy daai boom? Gaan haal vir my n blaar…sorry gaan terug….verkeerde blaar!
Over to the Cheetahs / Sharks game thread

Sien jy daai stof wolkie? 😉
@ Pietman: Ja Piet. Very heart-wrenching to watch. But all credit to a fine Chiefs side. Massive talent which we unfortunately cannot match.

@ nortie:
jip nogsteeds n baie goeie begin.
I agree with some. The Chiefs should win the comp. The final will likely be played between the Saders and the Chiefs. The latter have the backline to die for and feed off scraps, which doesn’t seem to bother them too much. We’ll see.
@ Tassies:
So die jaar is die chiefs se jaar? 😀
are you guys experiencing problems with your DSTV feed? My screen blanks out regular as clockwork and its not my signal. Because I can simply change channel and watch a crap game of soccer if I’m desperate? The Wales/Micks game is up and down like a friggin yoyo right now.
Someone asked me yesterday; “is my money on the Stormers for today’s game”. My answer was; “only my heart”. Money stays in my pocket.
Nama probably still thinks his springbok favorites can come from behind to win this game 😆
@ MacroBull:
BB’s weekend:
Secure the win – tick the box
Away win as well – tick the box
Secure the bonus point – tick the box
Move to top of log – Check
Nama’s weekend:
Secure the win – skop die d…
Home win as well – skop die d…
Secure a bonus point – Ha ha
Stay on top of log – Sorry for you
Lekker man, lekker
