    Well done Lions.

It wasn’t pretty, but a win is a win.

Now can The Proteas dig their way out of the hole?

A win in NZ is a win in NZ, doesn’t matter how you get it or against who

Yes indeed, well done to the Ellis Park boykies!

Eish, and to think I took the Blues by 20-or-something!

    Amazed

Looks like those two teams aren’t the only stoopid ones around!

    Weary

Eish… the pressure is on by the Bowlers on Blomme No 10 and 11.

  • 247

The remaining balls is not a problem… staying in, is the problem

    Still 31 runs needed

  • 248

Let’s mosey on over to the Reds / Waratahs thread and continue the chatter there

  • 249

    Well done, Pakistan

    245 @ BrumbiesBoy:
I reckon pretty much everyone went for the Blues, and with good reason, same as everyone went for the Chiefs yesterday.
I just don’t think anyone expected this level of stupidity from the Blues, coupled with their woeful ball handling and skills.
    They are the weakest link…..goodbye

    @ BrumbiesBoy:
I had Lions by 3, believe it or not!

  • 252

All out. SA cricket got a massive problem. This was pathetic. Can’t believe we can’t chase down 232 runs.

    No problem….business as usual

Forwards and Jantjies did it…important tighthead in the 80th minute closed the match.

    @ Pietman:
So happy for these guys they’ve been trying their hearts out.

  • 258

    @ Pietman:
Seriously pissed-off. We and Pakistan now same log points. We got a better run rate though. If we can win the next one and n reobtain a better run rate than the Pakistani then we will go through.

    @ McLook:
Kepler Wessels reckons SA can’t afford to be 1 down in the 1st over every game and thinks Rilley must open with QdK in at 7
Victor Mpisang reckons AB must keep and QdK must be dropped.
So, general consensus all round is something must be done with QdK and he shouldn’t open…..but that won’t go down well here.
I’m sure there is a Facebook group called “give Quinton another chance he will come good, look at his stats” with at least 2 likes

    @ nortie:
I agree with Kepler. I feel for QdK but what is the change that he will find form in a high pressure game? Reminds me of Andrew Hudson in 1992. Move him down in the order or preferably play Rossouw as opener, AB as keeper and bring another bouler into the team.
