France scrum after an umpteenth knock… this one just outside the France 22, middle of the field
France scrum Free Kick for an early engage.
Sounds like Bobo is over there in Rome, as one of the commentators…
France penalty, ball played from an offside position… Lopez for goal.
Lopez is such a “French” surname… NOT!
France 3 / 0 Italy
Late Lunch / early Sunday night dinner is served to me, as is what we normally do…
2 Big mutton Chops, a grilled corn on the cob (mielie), garlic bread… lekker stuff!
Another France kickable penalty, Lopez for goal again
France 6 / 0 Italy
22 Drop out Italy
France penalty again, on about halfway
French lineout, just inside the Azzurri 22.
France scrum penalty, deep in the Azzurri 22.
Scott Spedding slots it
France 9 / 0 Italy

Hello GBS, not watching just popped in to say hello as you are putting in the effort to do this one thanks. Doesn’t seem a good game.
@ grootblousmile:
I see you mentioning John Allen’s nephew missing a kick and then going off injured, strange they started him as it sounds like he pulled a hamstrong (or groin depending on which online commentator was correct), but looking at the original starting line up Haimona must have been withdrawen as well with Orquera coming in on the bench in Allen’s place. I remember the time Tomasso chose Italy over Scotland being disappointed as we need all the flyhalf options we can get and he looked quite promising for WP juniors but it doesn’t seem as if he really kicked on and developed into much, still young so maybe he will come good some day.

No, it’s not a good game.
France just going through the motions, Italy trying hard but far too many errors and not accurate enough.
A little bit gloomy on the rugby front this side, some rumours doing the rounds but hopefully they are just that, will keep an ear open and only raise them if they prove to be more than rumours.
42 @ Bullscot:
Yeah, Tommy Allen tweaked something during warm-up.

2 Great games yesterday… Stormers / Chiefs (even though Stormers lost) and of couse the marvelous game between Wales and Ireland.
Players out on the pitch again
2nd Half ON!
Plisson on for France in place of Lopez
Not releasing by Parisse, penalty France… could also be very kickable
France 12 / 0 Italy
France penalty again, this one well in their own half, so they obviously kick for touch
French knock… can the Azzurri do anything with it… nah, not much
Much better by France, try Maestri
France 19 / 0 Italy
Italy penalty, about 8m out…
Italy duff their lineout… chances go a begging
Italy knock… nothing going for them in the game
Massive France scrum, they walk 10m with it… penalty, they opt to scrum again
Italy get their own scrum ball under huge pressure…
Venditi tackles Huget, but does not release… penalty it is and Plisson for goal again
