Dankie Naas, waardeer jou eerlikheid, sê hulle !

The Bulls are dishing up the same k@k as the last season

It’s to be expected with the same clueless coach

Pollard still needs to live up to the hype, any CC flyhalf kicking all the penalties will be better than him

The two fetchers didn’t work either, the Stormers without a specialist fetcher turned over more balls than they did

No fire in the pack either

The Bulls have no mongrel, it’s a big problem, your pack needs it especially your tight five needs aggression

Any team running on the field with JJ Engelbrecht and Rudy Paige already have a deficit, they might not even be good enough for CC level

Victor asked the fans to return to Loftus

Victor, do you really think fans are going to pay to see you play the same poor rugby and lose just like last year?

  • 274

Who says you need a fetched when you have a loose trio that pile in like that?

Well done stommers. Good game i think the best part of their game today was they brute fierceness at the breakdown.

Two fetchers against none…. or was it 3 fetchers? 🙂

Unfortunately with Victor on the park, the Bulls can’t afford to play with two relatively lightweight flankers and Pierre Spies…. They’ll never win any breakdown battle.

Agree with the lightweigh flankers and Spies.

Yes but what do i know 😀

  • 280

Same as last year the bulls breakdown is shit… Then again i think stommers were really good today. Cant really measure it till they play other teams, because the bulls had a few counter rucks themselves.

The rucks were a game all by themselves.

Work of the locks and props at the collisions is crucial in the modern game. Can’t rely on one so-called ‘fetcher’.

  • 282

If the Bulls are to win the next game they need to pick the following team.

    15 Kriel
    14 Engelbrecht
    13 Serfontein
    12 Odendaal
    11 Basson
    10 Pollard
    09 Hougaard
    8 Spies
    7 Liebenburg
    6 Stegmann
    5 Matfield
    4 Du Plessis
    3 Jeez ???
    2 Strass
    1 Nyakane

    16 Visagie
    17 Mellett
    18 Yho ???
    19 Hattingh
    20 Lappies
    21 van Zyl
    22 Potgieter
    23 Beyers

I’ve always liked De Allende, he’s a talented player and was unlucky to get injured before playing for the Boks

    He showed true sportsmanship today

He could teach fair play to the youngsters, he’s a good example

He could even teach it to to Australian batsmen, he could call it “How to walk when you’re LBW”

    @ McLook:
And you so called fetchers either need to tackle alot like hodgson and mccaw or gain yards like coetzee or hooper… Stegman has been uninspriging since the currie cup to be honest

    Coach?

Who do you pick for coach?

That is where the problem lies

  • 286

OK cheers I am off. Sympathy with the bulls supporters. Bulls needs to be a factor at lotus. One want the overseas teams to fear lotus.

Doesn’t matter what you call the player, what matters is fire or aggression

    The Bulls had none

The only player they have with mongrel is Dean Greying

  • 288

Hello van Loftus af….net gou vinnig noem WP jou lekker ding

Me no Stegmann fan. Overrated. Agree your no6 need to carry like Mcaw and Lessam.

  • 291

Disappointing result but well done Stormers. savour the victory.

  • 292

Well done Stormers. Good effort Bulle. Early days. At least Arno’s back.

If PSDT and Etzebeth is not our RWC lock combo then we have a problem.

And HM has already pencilled Vic as his starting 5.

  • 296

Good evening gents. Congrats to the Cheetahs and Stormers… I am still around but it is my busy season so I don’t get much time at the moment. I will be back mid March once things have cooled down.

I was surprised by the inexperienced Stormer pack. They owned the Bulls in all aspects. Didn’t watch the Cheetahs/Sharks game but was quite shocked with the result…

Will be at the Varsity Cup game on Monday though.

    282 @ Mxhosa:
Hi there Mxhosa, don’t believe we have ‘spoken’ here before so welcome on board from me, hope we get to see you here lots. Didn’t watch the game today just followed it on here at times, was very disappointed to see the score against us Bulls mounting. Have a few suggestions about the team posted – don’t know all the backup players especially in the forwards so as you point out there are some issues with front row choices. In the backline agree on most, think JJ belongs on the wing as well. Difference – I would suggest Serfontein at 12 and Small-Smith at 13, like Small-Smith a lot and he seems a talented player, don’t forget he captained the Junior Boks to victory a few years ago, also think Odendaal may still be injured anyway. Beyers is away to France now. Not sure if Duncan Mathews and or Travis Ismael are injured but they look promising and also Ulengo could do a job so may be worth a bench spot. Liebenberg looked very impressive at Saracens at number 8 so like his inclusion but maybe swap him and Spies around. If Spies starts and is captain then may be better to have Matfield on the bench with Hattingh starting who also looked good against Saracens, maybe we also need a bit more beef in the pack so possibly would have Jaques Engelbrecht on the bench. Time to dash.
