So dis hoekom jy 2 blikoopmakers laas vir my ingepak het?
Stormers flank Rynhardt Elstadt suffered a broken fibula in his team’s 27-16 Vodacom Super Rugby win over the Blues at Newlands on Saturday.
Elstadt’s leg is already in plaster and he will consult a specialist this week to determine how long he will be out for.
He is, however, expected to be out for some time.
Big blow. Carr just didnt have the same impact.

Yes he is.

Geen probleem nie, jy kan bo sit, Nortie hou van afwisseling
We may have to score 300+ to win the game which is fairly rare at the world cup.
Eish painfull drop catch… We may have tonchase 300+here
350+

300 will be considered par score for this World Cup.
Small fields, batsmen friendly pitches, 2 new balls, more power plays, only 4 fielders outside the circle etc.
Even the so called minnow team manage almost 300 against the better sides.
People want to see 700 plus runs on a day, so I feel for the bowlers, they are mostly on a hiding to nothing
@ nortie:
A score of over 300 has only been chased 5 times at all world cups.. 3 of those have been by ireland since they had littlento lose. Batting second at the world cup appears to be quite a challenge… Especially since india is playing at home here. Also im pretty sure the mcg is one of the bigger stadiums in the game?
@ MacroBull:
I’m referring to all the rule changes that have occurred in the last 4 years since the last WC.
Look at the scores in ODI’s in the last 2 years alone.
The MCG is one of the bigger grounds, but on average, most grounds have become smaller and boundaries brought in.
I’m not saying the team chasing will get the runs, but batting first you need a minimum of about 300 to feel safe and feel your bowlers have something to bowl at.
Batting has become easier in most cases, and the margins for errors for bowlers have become less.
The advent of the IPL has played a big part in how batsmen now go about their business.
Huge wicket at a crucial stage.
Great catch Amla
@ MacroBull:
The MCG is one of the bigger grounds, but that’s marketing for you, they will make more money out of ticket sales playing the big sides against each other there.
They can negate the size by producing batsmen friendle pitches and making the outfield as fast as glass.
The other games played at, what is considered club grounds by our standards, it’s easier to hit sixes
@ nortie:
Butnim talking about this game. And the pressures of the world cup. We will do amazing to chase 300+ ESPECIALLY with our history.
@ nortie:
India dominated this game by scoring singles and twos. During the middle overs… As you would do in a big ground.

Group games we are ok, we choke when the chips are down.
India is below average at the moment, they should have had at least 350.
If AB and Amla can bat long enough, 350 wouldn’t even be enough.
Our running between the wickets are also good
