    Who I would pick:

    Player of the Year:
    Duane Vermeulen

    Young Player of the Year:
    Handré Pollard

    Team of the Year:
    Junior Springboks

    Coach of the Year:
Johann Ackermann (Golden Lions) or Neil Powell (Springbok Sevens)
Pity Jimmy Stonehouse was not also nominated. Between Ackermann and Stonehouse, with the material they had available to work with, they did miracles…

SA Under 20 Player of the Year:
    Handré Pollard

SA Sevens Player of the Year:
Seabelo Senatla… the man has serious gas, is a good finisher, good defender… next year he might even be bigger than in 2014!

    Super Rugby Player of Year:
    Duane Vermeulen (Stormers)
    There is only ONE THOR…

Vodacom Cup Player of the Year:
    Renaldo Bothma (Pumas)

Currie Cup Player of the Year:
Nizaam Carr (Western Province) or Jaco Kriel (Golden Lions)
Close call for me between the 2, maybe swaying towards Carr for an excellent campaign. I hope both Carr & Kriel get all the chances they deserve in 2015!

First Division Player of the Year:
    Boela Abrahams (Griffons)
If only for his stellar performance in the Semi-Final against the much vaunted Leopards… it would still be good enough for him to get my vote.
