    @ Stormersboy:

I’m chuffed Reinach grabbed this opportunity and is fully deserving of another start. And can leapfrog Hougie and Pienaar in the scrumhalf rankings in HM’s mind.

    @ gunther:

An empty 2 litre KWV bottle. Then he’s moerse kwaad. 😆

    @ IAAS:
Ek dog hulle ruil nog die empties in daar in Namakwaland

  • 424

    @ grootblousmile:
Somehow Stormersboy sounds and looks so much nicer than Bullyboy

  • 425

    @ grootblousmile:
    @ Stormersboy:

Pretoria is good for Stormersby. Every time he goes to Loftus, the Bulls lose. True Story. 😆

    422 @ IAAS:
I expect a big empty bottle of Oom Tas in stead… you know the green one they call a “Oortjie”, due to the little handling ear at the neck of the bottle..

The bottle also known as Die Ou Oom met die Groot Hoed!

  • 427

    425 @ IAAS:
I’ll have him banned from Loftus then… somehow… hahaha

  • 428

    @ nortie:

Don’t be nasty. Just because Stormersboy has replaced you as head prefect now that you have to work for a living.

    😆

  • 429

    @ gunther:
Ha ha, nice to just be one of the crowd again 😆

  • 430

    428 @ gunther:
BullScot is my head prefect… I don’t trust these WP okes further than I can throw them….

    Overjoy

  • 431

    @ nortie:
The bulls version of stormersboy is always bullybeef 😀

  • 432

    @ nortie:

You’ll never be one of the boys.

You will always have the whiff of bacon about you.

    😆

    @ grootblousmile:

    And rightly so.

  • 433

    @ MacroBok:
    😆
    Bullybeef & Chips

  • 434

    432 @ gunther:
There was a time where it actually meant something to have that whiff of bacon, sadly it’s no longer the case.
Ek skud maar net my kop oor hoe daai organisasie agteruit gegaan het en is maar dankbaar dat ek nie meer deel is van dit nie.
Not all bad though….but I do feel for those trying to still make a difference, farting against thunder

  • 435

    @ nortie:

    I mean as an ex-prefect.

    😆

  • 436

    @ gunther:
What makes you so sure I’m not a current prefect, but just under cover?
Sometimes you need to light one up between classes to catch the smokers 😆

  • 437

    432 @ gunther:

    😆

    You’ll stay a n…

  • 438

    @ nortie:

Well if you don’t seem to be deleting your comments any more.

    😆

  • 439

    @ gunther:
Because I’m commenting so much less?
Or maybe because I am thinking 3 times before rather saying nothing?

  • 440

    @ nortie:

You mean you’re think of becoming a “glass half-full” kind of guy. 🙄

  • 441

    @ IAAS:

Indeed I’d like to think the private sector has had a positive effect on his attitude.

    😆

  • 442

    @ IAAS:
Not really, still will remain a realist…. 😆
Will just try and not give my opinion too often, lest it offends or upsets some that have a different opinion.

  • 443

    @ nortie:

Then again, if every time I agreed with you, we would both be wrong. 😆

  • 444

    @ IAAS:
    That too 🙂

  • 445

Fark, I suppose I better switch on some Plugins again… forgot again

That aside, the occasion as well as the game itself was enjoyable for all who attended. What marked this game as especially entertaining were the comments made by referee Steve Walsh during breaks in play. Viewers at home would have picked up an edited feed from the ref’s mic, while fans at the game as well as journalists would have been privy to all sorts of banter, moaning, and colourful pleading by the players. And on Saturday at Twickers, Walsh excelled in putting the players in their place.

‘Who me, sir?!’ squealed Jannie du Plessis, after Walsh had penalised the tighthead for a scrum infringement. Then there was the moment when the Boks cried foul over some incident that had occurred in back play.

Walsh suggested it was the citing commissioner’s problem, as he had missed it completely. He then chirped, ‘Well, they haven’t replayed it on the big screen like they usually do’. All Blacks coach Steve Hansen complained about this last week. The trend is for TV producers to replay an incident with the aim of influencing the referee and aiding the home team. On this occasion, Walsh pointed out that he wasn’t going to get any help from the English broadcasters, and suggested that South Africa shouldn’t expect any favours either. The Boks, to their credit, laughed it off.

Extract from JC’s tour tales…..but I guess Walsh is also wrong, as is Mallet who also mentioned it yesterday 🙄

Was a good weekend for SA sport, was’nt it!

  • 448

Ai, en dit net omdat Janneman nie 8/10 gekry het nie. Thinking Wink

  • 449

Apparently Walsh has now been in charge in a record in 18 matches for the Boks. They’ve won 14, lost 1 with 3 draws.

Why then are South Africans apprehensive every time they hear that he is appointed as the referee in a Bok match? Pondering

Lancaster really did well not to tell the interviewer to farkoff during yesterdays post match interview.
