Good win… we needed that after last week’s Dublin debacle.

I had to switch over to Barnes’s commentary. Bob Skinstad is just too biased for me.

Well done guys. Will have a celebratory drink now.Good
    night all.

Hondo, I am going to continue deleting your comments, if you keep talking absolute KAK!

    @ nortie:
We dominated them in the tackle area and the rucks in the first half… But yes those 5 minutes england played really well matters in an 80 minute game.

Marcel coetzee and vermeulens fitness is simply unbelievable they were involved all game and schalk was motm…that was the difference… And lambie and reinach even with their little soft moments.

    304 @ MacroBok:
Yeah, not a perfect performance by Cobus Reinach and Pat Lambie.. couple of glaring errors… but they did well in the bigger scheme of things

  • 306

    @ MacroBok:
Marcel was very good again….he has had an unbelievable year, started well in the SR and has just grown even better from there.
Flo’s injury has been a blessing in disguise for him, having the backing of the coach has made him play even better.
Definitely one for SA player of the year?

  • 307

Our breakdown play, overall in the match, was key, I believe.

Even under pressure, we stole ball and survived well.

  • 308

Owen Farrell was the worst player out on the field overall today… very bad!

    255 @ Just For Kicks:
Hi JFK, was listening at that point on radio and Matt Dawson was very complimentary about Willie le Roux in that instance and said it was a text book clip to watch again if you want to see how well he ‘looked after’ the player in gently helping him down after he tackled him in air, Dawson thought le Roux was completely committed and then once the tackle in the air happened dealt with it very well, so for him it was still a penalty yes but no yellow card.

De Villiers just so much more gracious than that sweaty Pom.

  • 311

Sounds like Robshaw has been taking after match speech lessons from Juan de Jongh….absolutely no credit to the Boks

  • 312

    Baie belangrike wen.

  • 313

Ja, those Reinach kicks were Rennies inducing…

    Rooi?

Spinstadt and Greenwood on Sky telling the world what is wrong with England and Lancaster

    319 @ Victoriabok:
Hartley should have received a Yellow already minutes earlier, for a professional foul at a maul near the England try line… if the Matfield recipy was consistently followed…

Only thereafter was the stomp and the Yellow against him

I know, they don’t like us

Did you see Steve and Bradshaw’s frequent little chats during the game?

I’m sure it made him favour them when it’s a 50:50 decision or when he needs to give them a card

316: ja jong, kan nie verstaan hoekom daar elke keer slegte refs is wat blaas as my spanne verloor nie, maar goeie refs as my spanne wen nie …… hoe kry hul dit reg?

    Whistling

  • 326

Isn’t Dylan Hartley a kiwi in sheeps clothing?

    😆

  • 327

All being said Steve at his worst is a lot better than that French Tampon Test Pilot we had last week

  • 328

Great comeback by the Boks particularly after last weekend.

If I were Ruan Pienaar or Hougaard I would be worried about my chances of making it to the WC.

Reinach must continue putting in these performances.

  • 329

    327 @ Victoriabok:
Romain Poite is sooooooooooo shit… why they even keep him on the International panel is beyond me… and somehow he gets to ref many Bokke games too!!

    Fark, he is irritating!

  • 330

I think I’ve heard someone (a commentator) mention today that of the England Test matches, the last 4 that Steve Walsh blew, England lost all 4 …

So today’s loss officiated by Steve apparently (I can’t vouch for this) ) makes it a sequence of 5 …
