No overseas-based players will be available for the Boks’ end of year Test against Wales at the Millennium Stadium.
The Springboksโ end-of-year tour itinerary includes Tests against Ireland in Dublin (8 November), England in London (15 November), Italy in Padova (22 November) and Wales in Cardiff (29 November).
โThe match against Wales falls outside the IRB Test window so our overseas-based players will not be available for that match, which will provide a good test for our depth in South Africa and Iโm excited to see what a number of our younger players can do in the Millennium Stadium,โ said Meyer.

That rules out the likes of Francois Louw, Morne Steyn, JP Pietersen, Fourie du Preez, Bryan Habana, Schalk Burger, Bakkies Botha, Gurthro Steenkamp, Ruan Pienaar.
The 36-man touring squad for will be announced on Sunday, 26 October (the day after the Currie Cup final) and they will get together in Johannesburg for a pre-departure camp on Wednesday, 29 October before leaving for Dublin on Saturday, 1 November.

Come now Nortie. Watching the French is better than watching kids open lucky packets.
One never knows what surprises are in store.
I can’t say I like the Argentina soccer team ….
Seems like all the real men in Argentina play rugby … and / or dance the Tango ๐

Johan Ackerman has not proven anything yet. They still got nowhere in super rugby. And they are currently playing their super rugby team in the CC against CC sides like WP, Bulls and Sharks.
Perspective is needed on their progress I think.
I hope that they can get in the top 6 next year in Super rugby, I think they belong there as a Union together with the Sharks and maybe the bulls and WP ๐ , but we will have to wait and see.

Onthou jy toe die Saarks nog die Banana Boys was, en al die toeskouers daar op Kings Park met hulle opblaas piesangs gesit het?
Nou is nulle nie meer die Banana Boys, maar nog steeds n glad klomp.
33 @ Scrumdown:
Nee wat Scrummy
The way the Boks ran on Saturday, even breaking away from our own 22 was pure class.
The Frogs do a similar move once every blue moon and everyone gushes about French flair.
This is a team that got the wooden spoon in last year’s 6 Nations. I honestly don’t have anything good to say about them, I’m just glad I don’t support the plonkers
40 @ Scrumdown:
Die opblaas piesangs is nou net In hulle broeke, dis al!

Surely you meant the Malvinas?

Ons het daai dag in 1990 die piesang so diep in die opposisie se foenfejolle opgedruk dat ons ons naam moes verander na die Sharks toe want ons kon nie meer ons piesang kry nie.
