It is unlikely that the Springboks will rest a few key forwards for their year-end tour to Europe.
According to reports on Sunday, there will be no respite for stalwarts like Jannie du Plessis, Beast Mtawarira, Adriaan Strauss, Bismarck du Plessis and Duane Vermeulen as Boks aim to pick their best possible team for the tour.
The Boks play four Tests back-to-back against Ireland (Dublin, 8 November), England (London, 15 November), Italy (Padova, 22 November) and Wales (Cardiff, 29 November).

The Springbok management believe continuity is key in the build-up to the Rugby World Cup against England next year and will therefore not rest the players.
A few pundits have called for rest for key players like the Du Plessis brothers, Mtawarira and Vermeulen, but they will in all likelihood be rotated for games on the tour.
Players like Trevor Nyakane, Marcel van der Merwe and Warren Whiteley could be given starts against Italy – who are expected to be the Boks’ least-fancied opponents on the tour.
The Springboks also have a few injury worries.
Scrumhalves Fourie du Preez and Ruan Pienaar have been sidelined in the last while, with Du Preez only expected back next year. Pienaar is undergoing rehabilitation at his Irish club, Ulster, and is in a race against time to be ready for the November Tests.
The chances of loose forwards Willem Alberts and Francois Louw being ready are also 50 / 50 at this stage.
Pick the best and strongest team for every test, same as during the June Internationals.
If some of them had to be rested, it should have been in June.
They at least get a 4 week break now, enough time to recharge the batteries and be raring to go for the final push of 2014
@ nortie:
I agree, while we should not take chances, like have another Duane Vermeulen situation, but I bet these guys are raring to go after a 4 week break.
Naand almal,
15 WP – Kolbe
14 WP – Senatla
13 WP – De Jong
12 gelyk
11 Bulle – Basson
10 Bulle – Pollard
9 gelyk
Pollard gaan n groot rol speel
9 @ Ben-die-Bul:
‘n Speler teenoor speler vergelyking werk nooit nie…
