Well done Province and the growing number of their supporters that now chat here on RT!!
Sjoe, Strauli het lekker wyd geraak, hy en Wakefield sal nie vanaand aan een tafel kan sit nie!
Well Alastair…….World Cup winner’s medal. Now the Currie Cup to add to the cabinet. Not bad for someone so maligned, even by this gent.

@ ryecatcher:Thanks, Rye, Great game to both sides, very exciting – WP took 1st half honours, and Lions deservedly 2nd. No embarrassment from either side today, and how nice not to see a ping pong final.

@ Ben-die-Bul:
Unfortunately, in a final you have to play the big points well. Today, it didn’t happen for the Lions.
It just puts into perspective Lambie’s last minute penalty to beat the All Blacks.
Say no more

Commiserations to the Lions supporters, however take heart, they were frankly dismal when I first started blogging and they are a force to be reckoned with now it appears!!
@ IAAS:
Well said!
Lambie, yes, great bmt from the youngster.

Nice words from Warren. Well done. Good player, good Captain
479: ja, eina man.

Thanks Rye, nail biter, but just happy the result went our way
Tjek te klein om daai ou se pens toe te maak…
488: is dit jy wat die CB daar vashou ? 😀
487: baie waar, dink WP het die druk beter hanteer as Leeus.
End of an era for a few who leave for overseas… Verbrokkel Harris one of them
@ Pietman: @ 496
hahaha
Now old Thelo is about to attack the buffet table.
The Golden Lions came back hard at the WP in the 2nd half… some of you must have produced a number of squeeky washers towards the end!
So, from the Currie Cup and the year… who should be included in the Springbok touring group?
Schalk van der Merwe
Ruan Dreyer
Julian Redelinghuys
Nizaam Carr
Jaco Kriel
Cheslin Kolbe
Congrats WP, this a very proud moment
Tough Luck Lions
A great contest, & a good advertisement for fair play, good sportsmanship & clean rugby
But great running rugby? Not so much … but then, it was a final
And the Lions lost the Cup, rather than WP won it
Who said the CC has lost its importance & does not mean much anymore? Think again.
Good night chaps. It has been a great year blogging here on RT.
Thanks GBS for creating such a great place to talk rugby… I have enjoyed this year so much.
I hope the Stormers will take this game plan with them to SR next year.
To all the teams – rest nicely (except the Boks) – Come back a force in world rugby and let’s hope one of own teams with the SR trophy next year…
Cheers and blessings…
Joubert knows how to keep it close,,,,
😆

@ Angostura:

@ Hondo:

You were saying……….? eh? what? Still don’t get you. Must be lost in translation. 🙄
503 @ Gumboots:
There is still the End Of Year Tours AND 2 Rounds of the HSBC Sevens World Series!!
… and in December there is also Cricket and Christmas… and my Christmas Message and the New Year Message!!
It is far from finished!!
503: geluk WPboots, geniet dit, volgende jaar mors die Bulle weer met julle, want Spies is terug !
