149 @ grootblousmile:Yup, but some dreadful play by the Hooker, poor tactical kicking, and then penalties resulting from those didn’t help the cause.
Well done Sharks, but not a great win, and some major improvement need for the next match.
@ nortie:
I’m still here. And no I didn’t predict or was expecting a WP win. All I said was, don’t write off the youngsters before the game because they had nothing to lose and everything to prove. I think the youngsters gave a good account of themselves.
Saaaks take it and my superbru is in its moer. Think I’ll have a Snickers.
@ IAAS:
Maybe, but when I say the same it’s a whole song and dance about glass half empty.
It’s plain common sense and reality that the Sharks should have won, but then it’s never so simple when certain bloggers deal in reality

Watched the game at the golf club.
WP B did well for a pick up side.
That 14 for wp must have the gayest haircut in the cc.
Does he work main rd in greenpoint?
Also the no 8, why does he need to give high 5 simply because he made a tackle?
Sharks were a bit lucky in the end and won’t get past Lions next week.
WP looking strong – this should be their year.
😉
@ 4man:155
How is my old stomping ground Lagos treating you?
My area was Apapa which is one of the roughest in the city.

Yes, when they announced the side everyone knew they were on a hiding to nothing.
It was a pointless going through the motions waste of time.
The Sharks were poor today and if they took their chances the score would have been much bigger.
I’m sure some would still have clung onto the belief that WP would have won, irrispective of the line ups, just because it’s WP.
@ IAAS:
It’s easy to cherry pick one comment made when the Sharks scored after a mere 56 seconds.
Did you think that after that start it wouldn’t be a hiding?
Much more was said throughout the week though…..doesn’t matter in any case, Sharks won, WP lost at home, the scoreboard doesn’t show the team sheets
Province played better than I expected.
Got the moral victory .
well done WPB… did much better than expected… imo…
haven’t read the thread… just wanted to say well done…
but seen a few comments on this page… so… completely lacking in context… thought i’d add some serious stuff about half full/empty glasses and optimists and pessimists…
If someone tells a pessimist there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, he’ll go and blow it out.
Given the choice of two evils, a pessimist will take both.
A pessimist sees difficulties in every chance,
but an optimists sees chances in every difficulty!
It doesn’t matter if the glass is half empty or half full.
Be thankful that you have a glass…
and grateful that there’s something in it.
Dear Optimist, Pessimist and Realist
While you guys were busy arguing about the glass of water…
I drank it!
Sincerely,
The Opportunist
Yes… I… ufo… am guilty of being an optimist…
but I’m also a realist…
I acknowledge that every silver lining… must have a cloud…! 😉
😆
Smile is a language that doesn’t need to translate, spread it among you, it is a kind of charity that doesn’t cost you.
Some see a hopeless end…
while others see an endless hope.
The pessimist says opportunities are NO WHERE.
The optimist says opportunities are NOW HERE.
Both see the same words… but read them differently.
That’s Life!
Optimism is essential to achievement and it is also the foundation of courage and true progress.
@ ufo: 😆 so true
The place where optimism flourishes most is the lunatic asylum!! 😉
@ ufo: what did you score in philosophy 1 UFO? Huh?
@ ufo: is that why I imagine Falkenberg has a rainbow draped over it in mid winter? 😉
well, I didn’t eatch the second half. The half that I did, I thought WP played bloody well. More than bloody well in fact. Was a great half’s rugby. What the sh1t happened in the second half(while I was tending the braai)?
@ Tassies:
@ Tassies:
sorry bud… fired a blank there….!! 😆
176 @ Tassies:
hey tassies…
no one will ever see a rainbow…
if they’re always looking at the ground…!
