In beautiful scenes in Spain, La Liga club Villareal has helped a 13-year-old cancer patient realise his dream of running out on the field for them.
The young man, Gohan, has an aggressive form of cancer and told his nurses of his desire to play for the club one day.

The Spanish club – nicknamed The Yellow Submarine – got wind of this, and in tear-jerking scenes, allowed Gohan to take part in their pre-season friendly with Celtic.
The teenager got his own cubicle in the host’s dressing room, a squad number and some pre-match tactics from the manager before kick off.
Celtic even allowed Gohan to score a goal before he was taken off, to rapturous applause from the home fans.
Proceeds from the friendly will go towards a three-year research project aimed at assisting young people battling cancer.
Lovely gesture… whatever happens further in his life, that boy will never forget this..
Thanks for posting.
@ robzim:
Thought so too when I saw the story initially, getting the full video was a job, but well worth it.
