Boland Cavaliers
Boland Cavaliers coach Abe Davids has been suspended by the union after it emerged he had faked his qualifications.
According to the SA Rugbymag website, the union’s board has issued the suspension pending the outcome of a disciplinary investigation into his alleged coaching qualifications.
Davids, who is the brother of Boland president Francois, was appointed as Cavaliers head coach in September last year.

At the time of his appointment, Davids was given the opportunity to provide proof of the qualification, but the evidence has not been presented and inquiries to the IRB and SARU have confirmed that he did not have the IRB Level 3 coaching qualification at that stage.
The Boland Cavaliers are currently competing in the Currie Cup First Division where they are second from bottom on the overall log, having won only two out of eight matches.
They lost their most recent match 32-25 to the Falcons in Wellington last weekend.

Talking of wheels turning slow. I see the four guys who killed the Brit outside Kings Park, are only now having their day in court. Will probably get away with it because one of the security guards said that he cannot identify them as “all white people look alike” to him.
