What a lucky escape. Wait for the cliche’s now. Such as good teams win when they are playing bad.

  • 272

That was too close for comfort.
    Sorry NZinChina
You could almost gloat, but don’t light the cigar

  • 273

sounds like a fantastic performance by walsh

  • 274

    Dankie tog.

  • 275

Tussen swak en paties was dit vrot vrot. Aussies lek hul lippe af, AB lag hulle gatte af, eish.

  • 276

HM predictable response: ‘proud of the boys, they showed real character today’.

  • 277

Also a poor preforms by us… hope arg can keep competing

  • 278

We need to take a hard look at our front row…

  • 279

Oh well…Argies can put two good efforts out on the park In consecutive weeks..Bok looking lost for ideas at uttimes bUT definitely will play better v Aussies

HM will claim that this was an AWESOME win and has surpassed the Wales win as the best test of character etc etc

Now I can relax…long day and I look forward to reading the comments made during the game

    AB’s will take them apart

    @ nortierd:

Strauss line out inputs far better than Bismarck.
Tighthead ….. we do not have any.

  • 287

ABs put 50 past the Wallabies?
On this performance how many would they have put past the Bokke …
Really a pathetic Bok performance (AWESOMEly pathetic)

Malherbe off injured, WHAT NOW for tighthead vs. Aus?

    $hyte!

    @ Angostura:
At least we have a 2 week break

  • 289

Pollard not ready for the big time. He could not dictate at all. We lost the tactical kicking game.

Juan Smit was a passenger. De Ellendige was poor; should go back to CC rugby.

Our scrum is in need of serious mending.

We have no starter moves and we show no speed onto the ball. We struggled to string more than 3 phases when carrying the ball.

Against the Aussies and the Argies you need to stay on your feet in the contact because if you go to ground you’ll loose the ball. That the coaches and senior players did not pick up on that (need to stay on your feet in the tackle) is hard to fathom.

Overall very poor performance by the boks.

Street fighter De Allende does not look the part …

    Nuwe voorry
Vic en Bakkies moet begin, Eben van die bank
Marcel in Juan se plek, as Alberts nie reg is nie
Hougies in Ruan se plek, Reinach op bank
    Morne in Pollard se plek
    Jan op binnesenter, jdv buitesenter

    @ McLook:
What is concerning is that 3 of the last 4 tests we got “character building” wins, and 3 of them were at home

  • 293

    @ Pietman:
    Hi Pietman. Couldn,t agree more.Bizzie ineffectual,Jannie a walking penalty.
And walking is an inspired word here
Then Lood provides no real power behind front row.
Being provocative here, not provincial.Marcel Coetzee made a huge impact
    when he replaced Flo.

  • 294

Marcel Coetzee, Morne Steyn and Strauss made a difference.

  • 295

    @ ryecatcher:
Coetzee was huge when he came on

  • 296

Classic deur Naas, oor die skrums, het my gat nou afgelag, het julle gehoor ?

  • 297

Morne may have kicked that one ball out directly, but he saved our bacon with the touch line conversion.
Pollard also kicked all his goals, but that 1 conversion was huge

Agree. When are we moving on and start to show real character by totally out playing the opposition like the AB did against the Aussies yesterday?

Behind a demolished pack,Pienaar was OK.
Pollard not the answer.Did HM really make the dumb comment that he had
settled on him for world cup?
